this end of the hall is in a U shape I like the way the rooms are across from each other

Justin, we are taking these rooms anna called to her mate

who was just up the hallway at a room he was showing to Takehiko and Bethany

sure he agreed as you guys like

let's get moving anna said the girls quickly got to work

sometime later Justin came down the hall the girls were busy as a beehive

Woah! girls, what's going on? Justin asked

nothing we are just arranging some stuff in our rooms Vivian said as she helped her twin sister lift a mattress across the hall from one room to the next

could you move please Yuqi said brushing past him carrying some camera equipment

anna? Justin called I'm in here anna called back from one of the rooms

she appeared with a bunch of items in her hands

hold these she said to him shoving them his hands and then disappearing again

a moment later Yuqi appeared and took them from him thanks she said and disappeared into another room

Justin sweety I'm sorry but we are busy right now

just go do something else and come back later OK!

we are fine we are just settling in we can handle this you don't have to worry anna said appearing in a nearby doorway

ok then see you later he said she nodded smiling at him sweetly before disappearing again

Justin left and headed to the command center hey dad, granddad what's up he said greeting both as he entered the room

where they were watching the footage of the battles on screens with members of their royal guard who were working there

hey Justin what are you doing here I thought you would be helping the kids settle in his granddad said

yea well they are all busy with unpacking and stuff

did you tell them about dinner arrangements? his dad asked

I didn't get the chance to they took the rooms at the end of the hall in the little culdesac

anna literally told me to go away and come back later when they were done arranging things

his dad chuckled nodding his head he patted his son on his back

you'll get used to it feeling like a useless man at times don't stress

female foxes are like that his grandfather said it's in their nature to be very independent

and do things on their own they aren't the type to need us, males, to take care of them like that

did you guys drop the threat level yet? Justin asked

yea since you guys arrived pretty much his dad said everyone is coming out of retreat now

his granddad asked fire frost is such a rare and ancient ability

we didn't at first Justin said it just happened naturally when we activated our rings we didn't plan it or anything

but we both knew we could control the temperature of our elements from super cold temps to super hot temps

anna was the one who figured out that there might be a way

to crack the scorpion's hard armor if we could figure out

what were the right kind of conditions that could weaken the shell

but we didn't have time so we just combined the two

and hit it with the most extreme temps we could from our elements

we weren't expecting the fire frost effect to come out

but it worked out and the entire demon was frozen and we were able to finish it off pretty easily

and anna's sisters were pretty capable in battle too his granddad said its quite remarkable how strong they are

and they grew up and trained themselves on their own

actually, I have to talk to you and dad about that Justin said

it's not in the footage but the goddess appeared after the battle and we have been given a mission he said

I don't know Justin answered I didn't recognize her from any of the gods I've studied

I think she's a benign servant of a higher god who is somehow able to travel

between here and heavens despite the seal

or perhaps she's too small so the curse doesn't affect her his grandfather said when she was in our presence I could sense she was a god but she wasn't very big

but she seems to be responsible for passing down the gods messages and running their errands

it seems she's been following some of us around off and on keeping an eye on us Justin agreed

we have all been chosen to find the lost city of Shangri La

and break the seal on the heavens and set the gods free according to her Shangri La

is a place where the last remaining heavens gate is still accessible from earth

it's supposed to guide us there and according to the goddess we all have important roles to play

and we each have our own respective

missions that we have to fulfill in order for the whole mission to be successful so we all need to work together as a team

also, there is supposed to be three more of us

anna's sisters mates are supposed to be joining us the goddess has gone to find them

they are supposed to come here soon but we have no idea who they are or what kind of natures they have

you need to prepare yourself well his father said to be handpicked by the gods for a mission of such grave importance is no joke

Bethany has it Justin replied she's an archaeology major so

figuring out ancient geography and finding lost cities that aren't supposed to exist

are kind of her thing she's going to do the research for us to try to see if we could match the map

with current modern maps and try to pinpoint a possible location for us to start searching

she's going to need access to our library Sergio nodding said I'm going to work on getting her the clearance

we are going to need equipment and supplies to take with us on the journey

it would be best if we could get some of those temporal backpacks from the fae clan

we can fill them up with food water and the necessary gear and supplies we will need for the journey

I think it would be best to get one for each of us

he replied who knows what we might encounter along the way it won't hurt to have the extra storage

so twelve temporal backpacks his father said nodding

we will need cases of bottled water Justin continued for drinking cooking and

washing as well as food supplies enough to last the twelve of us a few months

as well as tents six tents we are all mates so everyone is going to be paired off anyways

as well as the gear to prepare meals outdoors it would be preferable

if we can bring along foods that will be easy to prepare

or those that don't need to be cooked we can just eat right away if we are too tired

also climbing gear and warm clothing in case of cold weather especially in the mountains his grandfather added

and it would also best if you took a large supply of various celestial potions and pills his father suggested

especially for healing poisons and other status ailments you have no idea what you might encounter out there

logistics of this mission is going to give me headache Justin sighed don't worry I'm making a list his dad said holding a tablet in his hands

making a list will help you keep everything organized and you can always

add to it if there is anything else you think of we will make sure everything is prepared in time
