Chapter 42 Back at Shepherd

"The hell," Avalon said watching the nurses walk around the room, moving stuff. fixing her cuts, the head nurses are talking with Salvator,

She smiles at the sounds, it's no longer quiet. she couldn't hear herself breathe, there is talking and whispering that Blake's,

she starts to fall asleep as the nurse who cleaning her cuts sees this turns her head to the head nurse,

"Let her sleep we don't know what has happened to that poor thing," the nurse said patting her on the shoulder before containing to talk to Salvatore,

The nurse continued to work on her, she picked up Avalon's hand to see a black bruise on it, the nurse picked up a bandage to see the bruise gone, she hummed and continued to check her,

She looks around not noticing the time. she got to wash her hand to see a slight bruise near her sleeve, she check to see if it was there but it was not, she dries her hand and leaves not knowing what was with her,

"Where is she!" Blake yelled

His minions shiver, his voice booming off the walls they coward at him, fearing he would do something. Anything to them, they know he is unhinged, psycho. Any world like that, he is that but more. it's like that girl is the key to his mind and heart, now he was something they haven't seen,

"She escaped sir all do respect. she was distracting you from your goal," one of his men said sternly,

Blake's head turns to him then slowly walks toward him and grabs his shoulder the man started to whine in pain,

"You don't say that about her. None of you will disgrace her name will have the same fate as him," Blake said

His hand let out a black mist that attaches itself to the man who is yelling for help but reserved none, the other members of the board watched as the mist take over the man. Blake looks around the table in satisfaction at the fear radiating from them, he walks back to his chair and sat down, then he asked the man how he is doing,

"I feel..feel great," the man said, twitching,

Blake looks at the other,

"Would anybody else like to join him?" Blake said

All of them in unison said no as the door opened,

"Sir the experiment work," a scientist said

Blake got up and walks out of the room, the man he touched looked at his coworkers before jumping over the table and grabbing a female then ripping her throat out, he looks up at the other to find the struggling to open the door, he lunges at them,

"Sir this is where we stop," she said opening the door,

Blake smiles hearing the screaming from the office, he walks into the room noticing the clones of Avalon that are destroying themselves. disintegrate,

"I thought you said it was working?" Blake said

"We did but not the way you wanted," She said walking over to the main clone she opened it to show a male version of Avalon,

"The blood you gave us had your blood mixed with it. we couldn't make it any other way, every female we made turned out wrong and killed itself, so we did what you wanted in some way," She said holding her hand out for the clone,

He grabs her hand worriedly looking at Blake who is staring at him in awe, thoughts were going through his head what would she think...she would believe it's an aberration to life. she would want it dead, should he kill it? didn't he want this? no, I can't,

"Who are you?" the clone said curiously,

Blake looked at him smiling,

"I'm Blake Daga, I'm a part of you," Blake said

The clone looks at him skeptically before walking up to him,

"Blake?" he said

"What would you like your name to be?" Blake asked

The clone stayed quiet not wanting to answer it turn back to his pod. Blake grabs his shoulder,

"It will come in due time get some rest," Blake said he turned to her and pointed to the door,

"What the matter boss didn't you want that?" She said

Blake looks back at the clone who is sleeping,

he feels differently about this at first but now he doesn't know what to think.

'I... ok I will take to you more about this later. I have some things to do, keep an eye on him, I will be back later," Blake said taking one last look at the clone before he left,

"Avalon,"

She shifts away from the person shaking her not wanting to be bothered to wake up the person, they tried to shake her again, but Avalon slapped their hand getting up. her eye glaring at them to see Ally, she stares at her before Ally pulls her into a hug, Avalon smiles at this hugging her back then she felt wetness on her shoulder,

"Your ok," Ally said softly crying into her shoulder,

Avalon lets her go,

"Yes I am I," Avalon said sighing falling back on the bed with Ally rolling her eye following suit,

"Don't say anything you're uncomfortable with. if you want I can tell you what happened here?" Ally said suggesting,

Avalon nods, Ally looks at her noticing how tired she looked and how the cut on her is... gone? how. Ally pulls away the bandage to see that she was right, there's nothing, not even a mark was left on her.

"How did you heal so quickly?" Ally asked

Avalon looks at where she pulled the bandage,

"That was I tiny cut. barely noticeable to the blind eye," Avalon said plainly,

Ally lets it go and tells Avalon about what happened when she was gone, she tells him about the inside the goes to interrogations,

She told her how much the city changed in a matter of two months, Ally says that Blake killed all the heads of the mafia bluntly not just in this city. there is another one in the east which he took over, Avalon sight remembering the old days when it was her. Ally and Blake talked after a mission, eating, and drinking, it was life now she doesn't know what to think.

"Avalon?" Ally said

Avalon turns to her and said,

"Yeah?"

"What did he do to you?" Ally asked curiously,

Avalon felt her heart drop she look at her surroundings, she looks to her left to see Blake's aura and quickly grabs the vase next to her ready to throw it,

it turns to Ally walking toward them Avalon throws the vase which went through it, Avalon sat there complementing life while the aura wasn't there. Ally stares at her shocked,

"Avalon?"
