Kies turns around and swings his arms at the voice behind him but hits nothing. "What?" He looks around and doesn't see anyone or anything that could have spoken to him. "Show yourself!"
"Hm? But I'm right next to you," the female voice says again. It sounded like she was right in front of him but Kies couldn't see her. "Are you not able to see me?" the voice asks. "How very strange..."
"Who are you and what do you want?" Kies asks the voice.
"What I want?" the voice repeated Kies's question. "I would normally ask for people's souls but you don't seem to have one which is quite odd since you don't look like a Soulless."
"Since I don't have a soul, you shouldn't have a reason to attack me."
"Oh, when have I attacked you dear? We're just having a conversation aren't we?" The voice laughed softly. "Well, it looks like you're busy so I guess we'll have to end our little talk here. That owl, banshee, and demon seem to be in a little predicament. It was very pleasant talking to you, whatever you are, but you should catch up to them soon." After telling Kies that, the voice started humming a slow tune, fading off into the forest as the voice got further and further away from Kies until it completely faded away.

"However, the real fight starts now." The red werewolf beckoned for Ammine and Haro to come at him together. Ammine wasted no time and charged at the werewolf again. He stood still with his arms crossed and dodged all of Ammine's punches and kicks effortlessly. After letting her attack freely for a bit, the werewolf kicks Ammine in the stomach.
"Ack!" Ammine slid backward while holding her stomach. But before Ammine could go in again, Haro blocked her path with a wall of wind. "What are you doing?" Ammine demanded from the owl.
"Child, try gauging his strength before you jump in again."
"Hm?" Ammine sent out a wave of magic at the werewolf to measure his power. The wave hit the werewolf and the results stunned Ammine. "What!?"
"Now that you know his strength, you should also know that we cannot beat him," Haro pointed out to Ammine. The red werewolf was only a bit stronger than the both of them combined, but nevertheless, stronger. They would likely end up losing if they tried fighting with him, and that was not taking into account if more of his allies joined the fight.
The werewolf continued standing still with his arms crossed, waiting for Ammine and Haro to finish talking. When he realized that they had no intention of fighting anymore, he scowled and said, "You may not want to fight, but I do!"
The werewolf charged at Ammine at speeds that made him look like a red blur and grabbed her with both his hands. "Wha-" He then lifted Ammine into the air and threw her at Haro who was perched on a branch. Ammine clenched her teeth and braced for the impact, but fortunately, Haro was able to react in time.
Haro quickly called the winds to surround Ammine and stopped her as she was just about to crash into him and lowered her back onto the ground. But the moment Ammine's feet touched the ground, the werewolf was already upon her again.
"Tch!" Ammine held up her arms to block the blow when a voice suddenly yelled out to them.
"Stop!" At the sound of the voice, the werewolf abruptly stopped his attack. He jumped back from Ammine.
"Hmph, a shame," the werewolf grunted. He was looking forward to a good fight but was interrupted.
Ammine and Haro looked in the direction of the voice and saw someone walking towards them. The person was dressed in all black and was carrying a very tall staff. There was a bell and other ornaments attached to it, making jingling sounds as the person walked.
"Greetings and salutations you two, or should I say three. I can sense a third presence, and I must say, they are very skilled at hiding themselves." The banshee in her wisp form fluttered a little, surprised at the fact that she was found. "Though from the looks of things, they are somewhat weak at the moment. And oh, it looks like we have another guest."
Kies appeared from the trees and saw the scene. There were two new faces and he was unsure if they were friend or foe.
