"That's perfectly alright with me child, but are you sure that you don't want to practice what you already know first? It's better to master a couple of spells first before learning something new," Haro reasoned.
Kies understood that mastering what he already knew before moving on to something new is probably the better choice but he shook his head. "I always have the time to practice later but I don't always have the opportunity to learn something new."
"Hoo... you do have a point," Haro agreed. "But I'd still say that you master what you already know first, but if this is what you want, I'm happy to teach you new spells."
For the next hour or so, Haro taught Kies several new spells. After that, it was pretty late and although Kies didn't need sleep, everyone else did. Haro suggested for Kies to go to sleep as well, just in case that his magic circulation still needed fixing.
"Huh, I thought owls slept during the day and squawked during the night," Ammine commented.
"We don't squawk silly, we hoot!"
"Ugh, nevermind," Ammine sighed.

At the start of the next day, everyone was already up and ready by the time that Fae teleported through the array and greeted them, "I hope you all rested well. I don't think I need to say this but it is going to be a difficult fight. We cannot delay it any longer since if we do, the Bone Whistler's power will grow out of control."
Everyone nodded their heads and followed Fae to the array. Kies had expected for them to teleport back to the witch's room since that was where they came from, but instead, they teleported outside, back into the forest. Awaiting them was a familiar face.
Bloodmane stood in front of them with his arms crossed. He didn't have his red fur anymore but the group could easily identify him as he was the tallest out of the werewolves and was standing in front of the pack. "About time. I was tempted to start without you people."
Fae politely bowed to the werewolf as a way of greeting. He then turned and said to Kies's group, "The battle is about to begin. Everyone else is already in position. *Ahem* I'll repeat your mission again. Her excellency's forces will open a path for you and your task is to escort Bloodmane and his pack to the Bone Whistler. After that, you are to keep the lesser undead from interfering with the fight."
"Hmph, my pack can probably handle this by ourselves. I don't really see a reason for you guys to come again," Bloodmane remarked, looking at the group with his cold yellow eyes.
Fae put his knuckles against his forehead and rubbed it like he had a headache or some sort of discomfort there. *Sigh* "Are there any questions?"
"None," Ammine replied.
"Good." Fae lifted his staff and pointed at the direction in front of them and said, "Just go in that direction until you find everyone else. There will be a fairly obvious signal given for when to begin. Now then, if there is nothing else, I must hurry off and do my own part in the battle as well." Fae waited around for a few seconds in case anyone had something to ask or say before he bowed away and then teleported away.
"Alright, looks like we're stuck with this guy," Ammine nodded at Bloodmane.
"Are you picking a fight demon? We can start where we left off," Bloodmane challenged. The other werewolves behind Bloodmane glanced at Haro and shivered. They looked very reluctant to fight. One of the werewolves looked at Ammine and shook his head, pleading for her to ignore his challenge. It was a good thing that Bloodmane had his back turned or otherwise the werewolf that shook their head would probably have gotten into trouble with him.
"You know what, forget it," said Ammine.
"Hmph, coward."
Ammine ignored the werewolf's insults and asked, "Shouldn't we get going?"
"Yeah, we probably should," one of the other werewolves agreed. The rest also murmured in agreement. Bloodmane glared at the group and they all quieted down.
After a short moment of silence, Bloodmane grunted and said, "Let's go."
The group headed towards the designated direction. Kies couldn't help notice how many people there were. They were a group of ten: Ammine, Haro, Issie, the six werewolves, and of course himself. He was curious about how many more people there were going to be once they met up with the witch's forces. He had a very strong feeling that it may be even more than he can expect.
The group walked for several minutes before they heard a voice call out to them, telling them to stop. "Hold! Who goes there!?" The group suddenly finds themselves surrounded by a mob of undead.
"Wait, I think that's the group we were waiting for," said another voice.
"Are they?" asked a third.
"Hm... Werewolves, an owl, a demon, a spirit of some kind, and something that looks like a human but isn't a human. Yep, they're the ones we've been waiting for this entire time," said the second.
"Oh finally."
