Philadelphia

They arrive in Philadelphia and land the airship near the camp. They were about to head out to the village.

"Leader Max wants me to do some work from here. But I should be able to join you boys tomorrow," said Sara.

"I guess we just head to the camp and help around," said Schaffe.

"Yes, I have to say private Schaffe you truly show your leadership skills I wish you would stay with the brotherhood," said Sara.

"I think we are good on that and if you have a problem with them, we are happy to help you, Paladin Sara Maxson," said Schaffe.

"Yeah, you are stuck with us," said Ian.

"Just keep up the best work you can boys," said Sara. They stood in a line next to each other salute her and head out to the refugee camp.

They enter the camp and see people building homes with old building materials and wood. There must be almost a thousand people there.

"It feels like New York City right now," said Ian.

"Yeah, this place is going to be a good place to settle down," said Schaffe.

"Well, what should we do first?" asked Alan.

"We have a post somewhere. We should head there first," said Schaffe.

"Let's go," said Phil. They would walk to a place where they have a tent for them.

They sit in four chairs there. They would see a man with light-colored skin, blonde hair, and brown eyes he wore ragged old clothes.

"Ah, you must be the men helping us," said The Man. "I am Chad Bishop."

"nice to meet you, I am private Schaffe with Phil, Ian, and Alan," said Schaffe. "What would you like us to do?"

"Well, we just want you to relax. If we need anything from you it is protection," said The Man named Chad.

 "Sound easy," said Ian.

"Indeed, please take it easy. We will come if we need help," said Chad. He leaves them. They sit down and watch them.

"So, what are we going to teach this kid?" asked Ian.

"Probably teach him how to survive this hell," said Schaffe.

"He seems to be already doing good if he lives this long," said Alan.

"Got a point there. But we teach him slow," said Schaffe.

"Yeah, he could surprise even us," said Phil. They continue to watch them.

"One day, I hope we can get back to a time we do not have to worry about people and these strange creatures," said Schaffe.

"I just hope we get to experience it in our lifetime," said Phil.

"Well, maybe I will," said Alan.

"Lucky bastard if only immortality did not make me look like a hunk of ground meat," said Ian.

"Who knows boys," said Phil. He leans back in his chair and relaxes for a while.

"I guess I will take the first watch," said Schaffe.

"you are a hero," said Ian who goes into and takes a nap on a bed in there.

"I'll go see if we have snacks around here," said Alan, who got up and left.

 "Ah, great," said Schaffe.
