Chapter 19 (Josephs POV) Up Into The Woods

All of us looked at each other a bit scared, but not a single one of us hesitated, as all of us fell straight to the ground right away. It was a good thing as well that John had also made us a camouflaged set for whenever it was that we did leave our camp.

I shivered as I looked up above me in the sky, as I realized that I remembered all 3 of the dragons that were in front of me. One of those dragons was Plymas side henchman, the 3rd was one of the strongest black dragons that you could ever imagine. Even the people that I was with could clearly see that as well, as I saw quite a scared look on all of their faces.

Me and John both knew however, that it was not the main dragon that you should have your eyes on. The 3rd dragon that was ahead of us was a purple dragon, and that purple dragon also happened to be the leader of all of the black dragons.

It was Plyma... He had both the strengths of a red, and a black dragon. Being very strong, but also being very nimble and fast at the same time as well. I shivered thinking about being anywhere near that dragon in the first Place, as I realized at the same time as well, that I was in fact right up on the dragon right now.

John looked over at us, and then he put his finger up to let us know that we needed to stay silent. It was meant at Padre, as I could tell at the moment that he was having a panic attack. I felt a bit bad for him, as I knew my sister some times had those as well.

Padre closed his eyes, and did his best to try and shake it all off, and I looked over at John, as he whispered something quietly for all of us to hear at the same time. Both me, Uncle, and my father spun our heads over to him, to hear what it was that he had to say, as he nodded beginning to speak.

"That purple dragon is Plyma, he is more powerful than any of you could ever imagine... That is the dragon that we are trying to kill." He said to all of us, as the dragons flew past us, right above our heads at the exact same moment as well.

I stared at the dragons, as I squinted my eyes at Plyma... He was the reason for all of this, and I knew that I could not be angry at the black dragons. He was the leader of all of them, and they had to do all of what he asked of them, or they would pay the consequences.

I saw the others as now Padre was not the only one that seemed to be having a panic attack, my father seemed to be getting quite a bit scared at the same time as well. As I noticed that he had his eyes on one specific dragon out of all of the rest of them.

That was Plymas side kick, and I wondered what was so special about him to my father. He was not as big as the other black dragon, so I was not quite sure as to what was going on in my fathers mind at the exact moment in time.

My father sat there for a few moments, just staring down the dragon, as after a few more moments, and as the dragons flew past us in the sky, he turned his head directly over towards me, and he looked me right in my eyes. I wondered what it was that was going on in his mind, but he began to speak as it cleared out my thoughts at the same time as well.

"That is the dragon that killed your mother..." He said to me. I looked at him for a few moments, and then it all made sense to me at the same time. It was why he seemed to be having a random panic attack. I knew that my father was still in love with my mother when she had past, though he did not act like he was.

I knew that he would have never cheated on her, though he treated her like a pile of trash most of the time. It hurt me to even think about it happening to my mother, and I could only imagine how much worse that it would have been for my father.

He had no look on his face for months, and he did not even seem human. At first he had thought he was going crazy, but once it had happened to all of us, he realized that it was all so real at the same time as well, and that is when the pain began to hit him.

He realized that his wife had in fact been killed in front of his eyes, though he had not wanted to believe it for such a long time. It was all so really, and it was all so scary to think about even in my own head at the same time, and I was not the one that it had even happened to.

I got quite a bit angry at the same time as well, as I was just about to get up and grab my bow, and make a very stupid decision, and try and shoot at the dragon that was flying ahead of us. But just before I did that, my body stopped, and my nerves felt like they were about to explode. I was not in the same place anymore.

There I was, up in the sky, not too far away from where I had just been a few moments ago. I was wondering what was going on, as I looked around to see where exactly I was at in the first place. I only knew I was flying high in the sky because of the wind that was flying very strongly at my face.

As I looked around me, I spotted 3 dragons flying in a triangular pattern in front of me. I saw the dragon that was in the front as well, as I noticed the dragon right away to be Plyma. I tried my best to stop, and to get away from him, but it seemed as though I could not, as I realized at the same time as well, that I was in fact flying with the rest of them.

None of them noticed me at all, so I figured that I should just stay still. I usually was only with them when they were about to say something that was important for my ears to hear. But it seemed a bit different this time, as none of them were talking to each other, and they were flying in silence.

I say silence, until you take into account on the back that the wings were insanely loud flapping. I waited for a few moments longer, as I expected them to say something at any moment now. But still they just sat there, and they kept on flying.

I closed my eyes, half expecting them to go away at the same time as well. I was pretty sure at this point, that John and the others were already up, and they were waiting on me at this point now. I knew that John would understand though, as I shook my head and then I opened my eyes.

Right as I opened my eyes, I noticed that Plyma had turned his head around randomly at the same time as well. He spotted me with them right away, and he turned to a screeching halt right in front of me. As he stared me down quite a bit angrily.

I stared right back at him at the same time as well, trying to show no fear, and trying to look strong. He did not seem to notice it at all, nor did he seem to care either, as the 2 dragons that he was with at the same time as well, flew past him, and did not seem to notice that he had stopped.

He sat there for a few moments longer, and then he yelled loudly to the dragons that he was with to get them to stop. It was not so much that it was so loud when a dragon was to yell, it just had some sort of ringing vibration wave that somehow made their voices go far distance.

Both of the dragons looked around, a bit confused as to the reason that they had stopped in the first place. They both looked over at Plyma a bit confused as to what it was that was going on in the first place. Plyma did not seem to notice them though, he just had a smirk on his face, as I could see he was looking directly at me, at the same time as well.

It kind of scared me, as to the fact that I was looking at a dragon. Not just a dragon, but also a dragon that was looking for me, and was trying to kill me as well. I looked down for a few moments, and it made him feel even more powerful over me.

I could not help it, any other human would be scared to be standing face to face with a dragon as well. I shivered but then I lifted my head back up at him, this time trying to look even stronger than I had been before. He did not have his eyes on me however, as he was looking over at the other 2 dragons that he was with.

He stared both of them down, as they both had confused looks on their faces, as to what it could be that was going on in the first place. The larger dragon seemed to be a lot smarter than the smaller dragon, as he realized what it was that was going on, and he nodded for Plyma to speak. In which, after a few more moments, he did very well do that.

"They are near us somewhere... We kill them now, it is all over." He said to the both of them. I looked at him, quite a bit confused as to what it was that he had meant by that in the first place. The dragons that he was with seemed to understand quite a bit as to what it was that he had meant however.

I thought about it for a few moments, and it all came back on me. As to what it was that had happened before I had gotten to this point. How did he know that we were near him? Was there something about my power that I had not known about?

The look on my face only seemed to make his grin grow even more. I tried my best to hide it at the same time as well, but it clearly was not doing so much of a good job at all. I sat there and I tried to stare back at him, but I just could not lock my eyes on him.

I sat there for a bit longer, until I heard the smaller dragon begin to speak up to the rest of the dragons that he was with in the first place as well. I lifted my head up, as my eyes turned towards his face, as it seemed a lot more easy to look at his face, than the others, even though I knew that he was the the one that had killed my mother.

"Are you talking about Himla? We don't have an army on us right now... How are we supposed to get through the tribe?" He said to Plyma. After a few more moments of Plyma staring me down, he then turned his head over to the dragon by the name of Jinsun, and then he rolled his eyes at him.

He did not seem to be the most bright dragon out of the group of dragons that they were with. I could also tell, as he made no sort of reaction to the fact that Plyma had even rolled his eyes at him in the first place. I wanted to do the same, but I knew that this was serious matter, and it was nothing to joke around with.

Plyma looked at him dead in his eyes for just a few moments longer, as he stared him down, and then shook his head at him. The other dragon that they were with rolled his eyes at Jinsun as well. I wished that I had my bow on me so that I could shoot him at the same time as well.

Plyma sat there for a few moments, as he stared him down, and the dragon did not seem to budge, which I could not tell was a sign of strength, or a sign that he had no clue as to what it was that was going on in the first place either.

After Plyma had given up on looking at him, he then turned his face over at him. This time Jinsun seemed to get the jest of what it was that was going on now, as I was sure that Plyma had told them all about me, and who I was and what I looked like as well. After a few more moments of silence as well, he then finally began to speak.

"No Jinsun... I told you Himla is broken, he no longer matters... We are looking for the human, and he is near us..." He said to Jinsun. Jinsun looked at him for a few more moments, until he finally nodded his understanding, and then he let Plyma get back to speaking. "I need you and Adridge to start looking, he is near us somewhere..."

It all came to hit me at the same time as well, as it scared me quite a bit. This time Plyma did not have his face turned towards me. He was looking at the other 2 to make sure that they had heard what he had just said to them as well.

After a few moments, both Adridge, and Jinsun nodded, and then they both split apart from each other, as all 3 of them began searching. This time I blinked my eyes for real this time, as I wondered why this had happened to me in the first place as well.

This had just blown our cover! I wondered if he had seen the camo suit that was on me at the same time as well, that would spell a whole lot of trouble if so at the same time too. I shook my head though, as I waited for me to wake up and get back to the normal spot that I had just been in.

I kept my eyes closed though, as I waited for at any moment, I was going to come back into the present, and that I would be able to warn the group. I sat there for a bit longer, as then wind suddenly went away, and it got a slight bit more warm.

I opened my eyes, and I saw that the others were standing up already, and the 3 out of the 4 that were with me were staring at me a bit confused as to what it was that was going on with me in the first place. I looked over at John, as I did my best to tell him it as quick as possible.

"All of you! Get down!" I yelled to them, each of them looked at me a bit confused as to what it was that I had just meant. John did not hesitate however to get back on the ground right beside me. I waited for the others to do the same, but it seemed as though they were confused as to what it was that was going on.

Suddenly, I heard loud flapping coming from not too far away from us, as I spun my head around, in quite a bit of fear that it might have been too late for us... It seemed as if it was, and I wondered why this had happened to me in the first place.

I thought those visions were meant to help me! It seemed to do just the opposite of that this time however. I saw the much larger black dragon as it sat there in front of me. I heard the other 3 land themselves onto the ground right behind me as well.

I sat there for a few moments, as I was quite sure that he had seen us. As I looked at him however, I noticed that his eyes were not on us, but he was instead scanning all that was around him. I took a quick sigh of relief, as we had somehow gotten very lucky on that timing.

But that sigh of relief seemed to quickly disappear, as I saw his eyes then land right on us. He seemed to be staring at us, quite a bit longer than he had been looking at anything else. I was pretty sure that he must have seen us at this point now...

Was there something wrong with one of our camo suits? I shook my head a bit as I tried to push it off, and maybe he was just staring at the middle of the clearing as if he were looking around. But then, just as I thought of it like that, my biggest fears seemed to tear down upon me at the same time as well.

The dragon then got up into the air, and he began to fly directly towards us. I did not dare move my body, maybe he had not seen us, and if I did move then he might see us... I sat there as he flew closer and closer towards us, and I was also half expecting one of our group to get up and start running, which would blow our cover as well.

Thankfully though, none of them did that. But I did hear something from behind me that did draw my attention. I heard John pull out his bow, which was also a smart move at the same time as well. If the dragon had really seen us, than he would have had no choice but to shoot at him, though the odds of him making the shot were not in our favor, I did not think.

The dragon then landed less than 50 meters away from us, as it seemed as though he had looked me directly in my eyes as well. I gulped, as I did not dare make a single move, that might risk the life of me, and the others that were in our small little group.

The dragon sat there for a few moments longer, and at any moment I was expecting him to shoot fire at us, or I was expecting John to pull out his bow, and try to get a quick shot on him at the same time as well. But none of that seemed to be the case, as the time slowly creeped past us.

The dragon then turned his head away from us, and he looked around at the clearing. I sat there for a few moments, as I wondered if maybe he was playing games with us at the same time as well. But the dragon did not seem to notice us at all, as he shook his head, and then got himself back up into the air.

He looked around one last time, seeing if he could see any of us anywhere, but once again he did not see us when he scanned past us. He looked away and then he began to fly back in the direction that he had came from in the first place.

All of us sat still for quite a few minutes, as none of us even dared to get back up, for fear that the dragons might come back towards us one last time. I closed my eyes as well, half expecting to get back into another one of my visions.

But after a few more moments, it did not seem to be coming true at all. This time a made a heavy sigh of relief, much louder than last time, as I knew that the others had heard it as well. I turned my head back to the others, as I then heard Padre begin to speak to me.

"How did you know he was coming?!" He asked me. I looked at him for a few moments, as I then turned my head over at John. I saw that he had his eyes squinted at mine, as he then saw me looking at him, and I saw that he shook his head at me as well.

I got the jest of what it was that he was getting at as well. As I looked back over at Padre, and then shrugged my shoulders at him. I expected him to ask more questions, or for someone else to do the same as well, but no one else seemed to want to speak.

We all sat there for a bit longer, all of us too scared to get up, for fear that another one would come after us. John looked at each of us, and then he decided that he was going to be the first one this time. Once he was up, he then looked at all of us and began to speak.

"Alright... While we still have the chance at least... We need to hurry up and run up into the woods..."
