Hasha stood before the white portal. He said, "First let's go and find the Guild where brother Ushio works and entered the portal.
The portal opened high above some bridge of the city. Hasha jumped out of it and landed on the bridge.
Hasha looked around, "Looks like I am here, in some city." There were rows of tall houses on both sides of the stream.
"Hey! Did you see that" a middle-aged man told his wife?
"Is he perhaps a hunter," the wife replied.
Few people were passing by and were surprised to see Hasha suddenly jump out of nowhere.
"A hunter?" some of them whispered.
Some took out their mobile and started taking pictures.
Hasha covered his face with his hands. He thought, "Looks like they saw me jumping out of the portal." Then he quickly walked away. After he couldn't see those people he walked normally
"They thought I was a hunter," Hasha stopped and looked at his body. "Well if you look at this body and appearance out of nowhere even I would think of that person as a hunter," he thought.
Unlike his original body which was 5.7 ft. and thin Hasha was lean muscular, 6.6 ft. tall. Besides he was wearing a half sleeve white shirt which showed his build. With a white t-shirt, he had black pants and white shoes.
Hasha looked around. He was in a quiet small street with houses. "Where am I?" he thought,
"Ah! I can look it up on my phone." He touched his pocket but there wasn't anything. "Ah! I forgot to bring my phone and I don't even have money for a ride."
Hasha looked around. "No one's here," he thought, "Portal," he raised his hand in front.
A large white ray-like portal appeared in front of Hasha. He entered the portal and came out in his throne room in his airship.
"Open portal to my house," Hasha ordered. Hasha could only open a portal to his ship, Oasis. And only his ship had the ability to open portals to other places.
A portal opened in front of him. He got in and got out above the forest nearby Hiro's village. Hasha dashed with great speed also made sure that no one saw him. He made it to his house: a two-story countryside house. He jumped into his (Hiro) room without letting Aunt and Uncle know.
Hasha quickly took the phone and wallet that were on the desk. Hiro was in the gaming capsule.
"I should probably make a portal spell here to open a portal here directly," Hasha thought. He swung his hand "Portal."
A portal opened to the throne room of his airship.
"Open portal to Shibuya," Hasha said.
A ray portal appeared in front of him.
"I hope I don't have to do this again," Hasha said and entered the portal.
This time the portal led him to an empty playground of an unknown place.
"It's a relief that there are no people like before," Hasha thought after looking around. "Now let's go to Brother Ushio without any delay." He took out his phone to find out his location and his brother's guild location. He then followed the path and took a bus.
After thirty minutes he was finally there where he wanted to be; the guild where his brother worked.
Hasha was in the street, in front of the gate of a small but well-built rectangular building. The building had a unique star logo.
"Rising Star Guild … I have always wondered who came up with that name," Hasha said after looking at it from outside of the gate.
"Are you looking for something," a middle-aged security guard came and asked. The guard was slightly shorter than Hasha.
"Hello!" Hasha bowed, "I am looking for Ushio Shimizu."
The middle-aged guard was surprised. "Sorry but he doesn't work here anymore."
Hasha was surprised. "Do you know when and why he left?"
"I heard he was fired from the job a month ago," the guard replied.
"Fired and that also a month ago," Hasha thought, "Why didn't he tell about this to Uncle and Aunt? – is that why he hadn't called them recently."
"Why was he fired?" Hasha asked.
The guard answered, "That I don't know. – He was a kind and hardworking man. I was really surprised when I knew about it."
"Then do you know where he lives or where can I find him?" Hasha asked.
Hiro knew that Ushio lived somewhere in Shibuya but did not know his house address nor he had visited him before.
"I don't know where he lives but from what I have heard that he can be found in the Hunter Association trying to recruit hunters," the guard replied, "I heard that he is trying to open his own Hunter Guild." He sighed, "It's not easy you know."
"Hunter Association huh," Hasha said. "Thank you."
"Are you a hunter," the guard asked.
"No, I'm not."
"Ahh and if you don't mind me asking what is that purple line on your face? – tattoo?"
"This?" Hasha pointed at the thick horizontal purple line above the cheek. He flustered "Uh! ... Yes it is a tattoo. Then I will be going."
Hasha got out of the street and headed to Hunter Association by using a map on his phone. The Hunter Association was within that city.
After minutes of walking, he was in front of a huge compound surrounded by high walls. It was the Japan Hunter Association. Inside were several buildings for different purposes. This was the place where Gate and Hunter-related things were monitored and managed. It was also the place for hunter registration and hunter evaluation.
"Wow! So this is the Hunter Association of our country," Hasha thought, "So how should I find him – Ah! Right the guard said Brother Ushio was here for recruiting hunters then – I should go to hunter registration and evaluation building which is … through the south gate."
Hasha went to the south gate and walked into a large yard before the building. There were different people outside in the yard. Some were wearing suits, some casual and some of them were Hunters in armor and robes.
"Hunters!" Hasha thought as he walked past an armored Hunter. He looked around. "Where is he?" he thought.
"Can you believe that he wants to make a guild – by himself," a passing-by armored hunter told a female hunter with him. "If he was that capable why Rising Star Guild would fire him – Man I used to like him back but now he has become a desperate weirdo."
Hasha heard those passing-by hunters. "That must be him," he thought, "He is here somewhere." He walked further and searched around. Then he saw a man wearing glasses and a black suit talking to hunters, explaining.
"There he is," Hasha smiled, "He looks better than I thought – it looks like they brushed him off."
That man with glasses and black hair was Hiro's brother Ushio Shimizu, a man in his early thirties.
"Let's observe him from far," said Hasha. Then he went under the shade of a tree and watched his brother trying to recruit hunters.
Ushio tried to recruit and talked to many people passing by but he was unsuccessful. Some ignored him without listening while some politely declined him. Besides him, there were also other people who were trying to recruit hunters.
"So this is how they recruit others," Hasha thought. "It looks like you're having a hard time brother." Hasha became a little sad, "Did you do this all the time after you were fired? By yourself? You should have come back home or at least talked to your parents."
He thought not as Hasha, but as his younger brother Hiro.
"If no one is joining you then, let me. Now … Let me be the one to help you this time."
Hasha slowly walked towards him while thinking, "But how should I address him? Brother? mister?"
Ushio was sitting, laid back on a bench under the tree shade. He was sweating a little and he was worried.
"What should I do? It has already been a month," Ushio thought, "No Hunter listens to me – even F and E rank ignore me. – But it's not their fault when I am just one guy and can't even offer what a small guild can.
Ushio closed his eyes and laid back on the bench. The trees blocked the sun making the surroundings cool and calm.
"Hey, mister."
Ushio heard and got his head up to see who called him. He saw a young, tall, muscular guy in a white t-shirt – purple eyes and purple line pattern under the eyes – standing with a smile.
"Let me join your guild," Hasha said.
