World Gates and Fallen Worlds
74 years ago in India, an unknown being appeared out of a magic array in the middle of a city road. It was an old male elf: taller than humans, fair skin, long white beard, white and golden cloak, and a long wood staff with gems on top of it.
With a sudden appearance of an unknown species, the world was in turmoil. He was all over the news, web, and people.
The old elf was taken in custody by the Indian Government and military and was studied. After six months everything about him was made public. The world was shocked after knowing about him.
His name was Blitzen Lonakavo Lunas, an elf from planet Elva. He was a 900 years old mage and was capable of something that humans couldn't do and understand. When he showed a few of his magic powers, it surprised everyone.
What surprised them more was the reason why he came to Earth. He was there to warn them about upcoming danger.
The danger he was talking about was the otherworldly monsters that come out from World Gates.
Blitzen didn't know when or how but his kind had been battling otherworld species for more than 10,000 years. These monsters came from a portal which they called World Gate. These light pillar-like gates were created from the strong desire of monsters. If the source was not eliminated in 8 days these monsters could enter into the world and wreak havoc.
No one knew where these monsters or otherworldly beings came from but one thing was certain they were wicked to other beings. Wherever they go they could wreak havoc and destruction.
According to him few of the worlds had been taken over by these otherworldly beings including his home, Elva. He was the only survivor from his world.
Every world these beings had taken over was called Fallen Worlds. After taking one world their desire led them to new worlds and this time it was Earth.
After learning what Blitzen could do and his story some people feared him, some admired him and wanted to learn from him, some considered him as a God or Heaven's herald and some didn't believe him.
Blitzen was strong and powerful. Human weapons were useless against him. He couldn't be confined but he didn't resist. He was wise and gentle. He found out that humans didn't have magic powers which were necessary to defeat those otherworldly beings as they also possess magic powers.
Even though Blitzen was feared by some leaders and couldn't be trusted, the leaders wanted to have that magic power. So, just to have those powers Indian Government started working with him. Other countries were also taking interest in it and finding a way to obtain him.
He then started selecting people. He was only given soldiers to choose from. Not all people had mana so he chose those who were likely to have mana or awakened after going through some training. And from among the chosen soldiers he selected 10 people.
Blitzen then inputted most of his knowledge in these 10 people with magic and taught them Holy Magic. He called them Priest. These priests could not use all the magic they knew about but could only use Holy Magic. Based on their knowledge, they were to guide and teach other selected soldiers.
After spending some time on Earth Blitzen knew how selfish humans were and had a hunch that the country leaders solely wanted him for their own, so he made few Priests and made them teach others then he vanished to other countries.
Blitzen made few people priests in other countries too and left for another. However, not all countries allowed him.US was one of them.
For a year Priest taught selected soldiers based on the knowledge they obtained from Blitzen. Sometimes, Blitzen would visit and teach personally in different countries. By the end of next year, many were capable and ready. In each country, there were some talented ones that exceeded others.
The US was also preparing themselves in their own way with science and technology. Their leaders were proud and belittled the countries that learned magic powers.
Most of the leaders hadn't believed Blitzen's story but just wanted magic powers. However, at the beginning of the third year, a giant pillar made up of downward streaming lights appeared in New York, USA. It was the first World Gate to appear on Earth.
Everything Blitzen said started becoming real.
Earth's first World Gate was all over the news, web, and others. Everyone knew about it.
Blitzen warned the USA and offered to help them but the leaders denied and warned him instead.
The USA decided to handle the situation themselves. On the first day, they discussed the strategy and investigated the World Gate. On the second day, the military entered the World Gate. At the end of the second day, few soldiers returned back. On the fourth day, they send more soldiers with weapons and more fire powers. The result was the same at the end of the day. On the fourth day, they took military vehicles, tanks, and helicopters only to see them not returned or soldiers returned heavily wounded in fear. Even though they had sealed the place and kept the information hidden and minimal, the situation was broadcasted all over the world.
Only Blitzen knew what was happening beyond that pillar-like gate. He could only watch as he was warned by them.
By not asking for help from Blitzen the USA tried to do everything with the military and technology but always failed. Soldiers with lost limbs, wounded, and dead bodies kept coming out after they entered the world gate. It continued for 4 days. They even took nuclear bombs inside the gate.
After the end of eight days, the World Gate changed. The World Gate turned transparent, a transparent pillar where one could see the other world in cylindrical form and see ours too. The World Gate looked like a cylindrical world.
In one hour, from the other side of the World Gate, otherworldly beings entered the earth. Blitzen called this process Gate Break or World Collision.
The beings that entered were 'One Horned Cyclops': above 11 feet tall, one giant-eyed, one-horned head, big gray half-naked bodies. They were about 7 in numbers and were different in size. They carried a giant stone club and stone pole.
The soldiers attacked with everything they got: missiles, grenades, guns, even their new weapons but they didn't do any harm against these enormous otherworldly beings.
Since the area was sealed only gun firing and explosion sound could be heard outside the area as well as in news.
And after an hour the whole world saw these one-horned monsters on tv and the web. They had gotten out in the city after killing all the soldiers there. The people who were watching it on tv or other means were shocked and felt fear after seeing those huge hideous monsters.
The cyclops started killing everyone they saw. They crushed people under their feet, with their stone clubs and stone pole. They caught some of them and ate them. They crushed and threw vehicles filled with people. The road was filled with smashed organs and blood of crushed people. Even police and soldiers were helpless. The cyclops destroyed everything they could. They climbed buildings and killed people inside.
All these were going live in the news, shot from the helicopter. The whole world saw the massacre. Some cried some closed the channel or phone, some prayed to their own gods, all in all, the whole world was in fear.
Knowing that human weapons were useless and seeing such massacre the leaders of the USA asked Blitzen or other countries trained soldiers help.
By that time there were over thousands of magic-trained soldiers in most of the countries. These trained soldiers were the first hunters of Earth.
10 Hunters from Canada and 10 from Mexico flew to New York. They wore body gears similar to knights and carried close combat weapons like swords, hammers, axe, spears, wands, and staff. The body gears and weapons were imbued with magic.
They managed to defeat the 7 cyclops in less than an hour with their teamwork. They killed the source from whom the World Gate was generated and closed the World Gate.
The world witnessed the defeat of the cyclops by these Hunters. And upon the defeat of those monstrous cyclops, the whole world cheered and praised Hunters.
After that sad incident, the world leaders believed the words of Blitzen. The USA also started training its soldiers to become Hunters.
Then several World Gates started appearing throughout the world. People began to awaken and became Hunters. The number of World Gates increased as well as Hunters. Hunter Guilds were established.
Being Hunters became a proud job that brought both wealth and fame. Some hunters were treated like celebrities. Many people and countries prospered by collecting stuff from Fallen Worlds and from defeated monsters.
There were books written and taught in school about Elf mage Blitzen, Hunters, World Gates, Fallen Worlds, otherworldly beings, and many other things.
Till now, new World Gates continue to appear throughout the world, Hunters battle monsters in the Fallen worlds, protecting Earth from falling into the hands of otherworldly beings.
