Chapter 133

Barrett Ranch Homestead

Seven Months Later

Mari sighed, her whole body ached, but her heart was soaring. Lifting her head from the back of the couch, she glanced down at her husband who barely succeeded in stuffing his 6 foot plus frame onto the couch to lay his head in her lap. His beautiful, rugged face nestled against her rounded belly, and his low drawl tickled her tummy as he whispered dear, wonderful nonsense to their growing child.
