One of the screens had a side-view of Hornet. Peaceful, not an Arachnid in sight. Fuzzy versions of Albatross and Blayse still scouting near the front. I turned my attention back to Omni. Sage glanced as quickly as he could over all the screens, before focusing on certain images, figuring out what was what. A wide smile grew on his face, but I couldn't stretch my neck to see the screen he saw. All I know is that it was good news for Hornet. Meanwhile, Darius stared at me with waterfall tears.
"In his next endeavor, Man created a symbol," Omni continued. "A representation of harmony that would be the face of Saturn. A permanent figure to be controlled by a few. Sculpted, implanted, modified to lead with perfection. In this they were successful."
"The High Priestess," Darius said, summarizing Omni's descriptions. "Lex, I..."
"So," Omni cut him off. "Why not live in a world where perfection is the norm?"
"Because perfection is a concept. It doesn't exist," I answered.
