Chapter 30

The construction workers are no match as Leo and the soldiers start thrashing them. One construction worker uses his rickety chainsaw as a weapon while soldiers rush to him. Clouds of black smoke pouring out the side of the appliance. He uses the tool to block the sword attacks, then splits a soldier in half. He squeals in anguish as he is torn apart, and the worker barely makes it through his flesh and armor. It held the same difficulty as cutting through old oak wood. Kip witnesses in horror as the top half of the soldier still continues to move for thirty more seconds, crawling towards him, hate still beating in his heart.

"...Is there a disturbance in the tunnel?"

"Kip, go forward, run past the barrier!" orders Leo as he continues fighting off the construction workers. In the back of his mind festering the post-traumatic stress Kip is destined for. The type of stress at all soldiers need in a way.

Kip runs forward and sees three more workers fleeing from the scene.
