Chapter 67: Mother Mina, Part 2

Bilal took the piglets to the pen and returned a short time later with Little Wolf. He wanted to make sure that the animal recognized the smell of his mother and wouldn't attack her. But Little Wolf did recognize Mina's smell because it was associated with Bilal's.

Mina stood still as Little Wolf eased toward her. Although little was the wolf's name, he was far from small. But Mina did not seem afraid and stood stock still allowing the wolf to satisfy his curiosity until finally Little Wolf returned to Bilal's side, reasonably sure that the creature meant the pack no harm.

"Mina, would you like to come inside?" Carmella offered.

"Yes, I would like to know more about the child's abilities. I can already tell that he is remarkable."

Bilal smiled in pride.

Once inside the house, Mina looked around. Her grey coloring was edged in pink. She seemed pleased. Carmella knew that pink was good. Red, purple, black and blue were bad.
