He shook it off thinking that he's just paranoid. While taking a sip of water he heard a noise come from the front of his house. It was a small creek as if the door was opening. Oliver was terrified his eyes went wide when he realized that it was his front door opening. He peeked around the corner and seen a woman standing in the opening.
What he could see was her long raven colored hair. Her skin was pale white. She was medium height and seemed to be looking for something or someone. His breath wouldn't come out as he watched her walk into his office room. He wanted to go and confront the woman but fear paralyzed him when he noticed that she was holding something in her hand, but he didn't wait to see what it was. He ran up the stairs as fast as he could.
His chest heaving as he took breaths of air. He ran into his room and started to panic and grabbed his phone. His hand were clammy and shaking with fear he called the first person he saw.
"Please, please, please, pick up." Oliver was desperately whispering in fear that she'd hear him. Once he heard the call connect he started to tear up.
"Hello, Oli? What do-" "Min help me there's someone…" Oliver cut Min off then froze when he heard loud thuds coming from the other side of the door.
"Oliver? What's happening! I'm coming over." He heard Min say in his frozen stance.
Then there was a knock on the door.
"I know you're in there Oliver." the voice said in a high singsong like pitch.
His pulse pounded in his ears as he looked around the room for some type of weapon to protect himself with. Oliver ran over to his closet and grabbed the bat. The door slammed open its hinges screaming.
There stood the woman, her raven black hair, white skin, and dark eyes almost black. She had a sinister smile and her head tilted sideways. Oliver gripped the bat until his knuckles were white.
"Who are you? What do you want from me?" He asked the woman with narrowed eyes.
She smirked at him and didn't respond instead she let out a scream and charged at him. She lifted up her arm and there was a kitchen knife in her hand. His eyes widened and he swung the bat knocking the woman to the ground. But it wasn't enough, she got up from the ground and looked at him angered.
"Now why would you do that? Why would you hurt me?" She said with a sad but angered voice. She charged at him again this time raising the knife beforehand. Her knife sliced his forearm. He hissed in pain and took a breath swinging the bat. He had knocked her out with the force of his swing. This time she didn't get up. He dropped the bat and fell to his knees taking deep breaths. He grabbed a nearby shirt and covered his cut. He heard a loud bang from downstairs, followed by loud thuds coming up the stairs.
"Oliver! Thank the lord you're okay!" He heard his friend Min call out.
"When you hung up I was worried, I called the police and ran here." He continued while wrapping his arms around the tried boy.
"Thank you, Min." He said resting his head on Mins shoulder watching the police drag the woman out.
