"Please, I was only trying to speed things-." Abaddon was cut off as the hooded man grabbed him by the throat and lifted him off the ground. Abaddon struggled to remove the hands on his throat, but it was futile. The hooded man was much, much stronger than he was.

"Well, let me help you," the hooded man taunted and threw Abaddon toward Kathrine.

Abaddon scurried to his feet and turned to look at his brother as if to ask what he should do, but the hooded man answered before any questions were asked.

"Fight her! I think she'll win. I bet-hmm-what should we bet? Oh I know, I bet YOUR LIFE!" the hooded man bellowed.

Abaddon turned to Kathrine and unsheathed his sword. He looked afraid and determined at the same time.

"Get up!" Abaddon yelled.

In an instant, the hooded man was beside Abaddon.

"Now, that isn't fair. And you know how I am about rules," the hooded man teased as he quickly relieved Abaddon of his sword.

"But-" Abaddon protested.
