Thoughts raced through Kathrine's mind. She had so many questions. Hopefully, Michael would answer at least some of them. Then she remembered Sarah.
"I don't ask for much. Please, please save Sarah," Kathrine begged.
Michael didn't answer. He walked over by Sarah and put his hand on the gaping wound in her chest. There was a bright yellow glow, and Sarah started to breathe again.
"She will be fine in a day or two. Your father has just been drugged. He will wake in a few minutes. Asuune bodies tend to expel poisons quickly." Michael stated then walked back toward Kathrine.
"Thank you!" Kathrine exclaimed.
"That wasn't for you. That was a reward for Sarah. It would be cruel to give Sarah her true love then let her die and have him walk the Earth for centuries. She finally understands, and God rewards those that pay attention." Michael stuck out his hand to help Kathrine to her feet. Paul just stood frozen.
