The Altered Revenge

AFTER BREAKFAST, TETH reported for drills, practicing hand-to-hand combat with a large class of cadets for a few hours. Since the end of the mission and her subsequent recovery, Mad had been embroiled in the politics of the higher-ranking officers, offering her retelling of the mission repeatedly. In the fleeting conversations Teth had had with her, she'd been distracted, moving from one meeting to the next. However, Mad had informed him she was looking into the mole that had betrayed them, causing Royce to be captured. She left promptly afterward, and he hadn't seen much of her since.
