"Okay, that's good to know," Lisa said as she made some notes on her notepad she had retrieved from her oversized purse. She took a sip of her coffee. "The coffee's just the way I like it. Not too strong but strong enough to taste it."
"Thank you," Angela said as she also took another sip of coffee.
"Did Autumn have a cell phone, iPod, anything like that?" Lisa asked.
"She had a cell phone she carried with her. It was with her at all times. It seemed she was never without it. Even at dinner. One of our arguments was about her cell phone while we ate. Kids today! What can you do?" Angela answered, toying with her now-empty cup of coffee.
"Do you know her cell phone number?" Lisa asked
"Yes, it's-" Angela rattled off a number so fast Lisa had to ask her to repeat it numerous times.
"Have you called her cell phone?"
"Yes, many times. She must have it turned off because it goes directly to voice mail."
