Once the dragons were gone, Lynessa rushed up the hill to Colin's cave prison. 


"Lynessa, no!" An older woman wearing a peasant dress with a scarf wrapped around her hair called after her. She reached down beside her and grabbed a little girl's arm just before she could run off. Colin thought that it was probably her mother and little sister. 


"Oh, no! You will not flee from me!" the woman yelled, tucking her tightly under her arm. She gave one last worried look to her elder daughter, and then carried the younger daughter into a tent nearby.


"Did you hear that?" Lynessa asked Colin, breathless. 


He nodded. "You have to warn Seth, my son."


"I was going to try and stop them," Lynessa said. "There are many of us in the village who are loyal to Cambria and to Queen Briana."


"No!" Colin quickly interjected. "They will be no match for you! But go warn Seth at the castle! They can send knights to protect the others."
