"Where are we going?" Seth asked his uncle.

Herman led him around the corner to a vacant alley, in the opposite direction of the castle. "We're going to my lab," Herman replied, then added, "Also, we need to talk. I want to start working with you to develop your powers."


"Yes," Herman replied. "After what happened to you last night, I know now that you are more powerful than even I had imagined."


"How do you know about last night?" Seth asked as Herman came to a stop in the shadows.
