"Can't sleep, nephew?" a voice called from behind him. 


Seth took a deep breath and, when he turned around, his Great Uncle Herman was walking into the room. "I felt something pulling me in my sleep. I couldn't, so I came down here." He said nothing of Lisa and their conversation.


Herman nodded. "Seth, promise me that you will not leave the castle unattended on this night or any other ... and at any time of the day."


Herman took a deep breath. "Virtra was in the forest tonight, just beyond the castle, and she knows about your powers."


Herman nodded. "The Dragon Queen," Herman said. "She's a very powerful witch."


Seth shook his head as he turned to face his uncle. "If she was behind the attack on Briana tonight, then I'd bet that she's working for Dracon. He has to be behind it."


Herman's gray eyebrows pulled together, concerned. "I don't think so. Dracon wants her alive."
