Chapter 18

After they finished eating, Raine spent the morning helping Briana around the cottage. Throughout the course of the day, Briana taught her many things, including how to make bread, cook a meal, and how to care for a house-all things that Raine had never done before. The way she was acting, Raine would have never known that Briana was the rightful queen of Cambria. She wasn't afraid of hard work, and was very down to earth. After spending the afternoon with Briana, Raine felt a bit guilty for not having taken on more responsibility before. She had a new respect for the servants in her castle in her kingdom. Everyone on Colin's farm worked hard and pulled together for the benefit of the farm.
