Chapter 21

Sunlight streamed in through the windows the next morning, alerting me to the dawn of a new day. I smiled as I remembered the night before with Logan. But when I turned over, he was gone. I sat up, suddenly fully awake.

"Logan? Where did you go?" I called out, hoping that he hadn't left without saying goodbye.

Then, I smelled the scent of coffee waft into the room as the door opened and Logan walked in carrying two coffee cups. "I know that you usually don't drink coffee, but I thought that you might need some this morning." Logan handed me one of the cups and shrugged. "I wasn't sure how you take your coffee, so I just made it blonde and sweet, like me."

I laughed. "Well, we shall see," I said, pausing to take a sip. "Tastes great. Thanks." I pulled the blanket up to cover my breasts, and then leaned back against the headboard, letting the warm coffee wake me up.
