Chapter 29

I nodded, smiling as I unlocked the hood. But Logan picked it up for me before I could even reach for it. I laughed. "I can get it."

He shook his head. "I don't think so," he said, adjusting it to his other hand so he could place his hand on the small of my back.

It felt so different than when Craig had done the same thing. With Craig, it had felt too intimate. But with Logan, it was natural.

He opened the door and I walked in.

"Yeah! I thought you were leaving?" Lathe said as a broad smile spread across his face.

I smiled. "Why? You want me to go?"

He laughed. "No way! You just got here!" Then, his eyes traveled over to my guitar that Logan had just set down beside the couch. "Good! Grab your guitar and join us!"

All of the guys laughed, saying the same thing, cheering me on to play with them, but I shook my head. "That's okay. I'll listen to you guys for a while."
