Chapter 80: Goodbyes

The remainder of their journey through the mountains passed without incident and their concerns about Hisoka began to ebb away. Days had passed, but Adelaide had still yet to speak to her sister. Bae had done everything she could to encourage her sister to talk to her, except for outright demanding it, something she refused to do.

It had been decided that Arvin would speak to his daughter about returning to Shiro as soon as they left Nun. He had decided that he would return with his daughter. His body was growing weaker and although he hadn't told the others as much, he wanted to die at home.

The group were now on horseback, having moved through the most treacherous parts of the mountains.

Kori and Bae were riding side by side at the very front of the procession. They had kept up an almost constant conversation over the last two days, both seemingly highly inquisitive about the other.
