Chapter 103: She's Actually Lost Her Trolley

When I wake the next morning, I'm surprised to find Landon fast asleep beside me, his arms still wrapped around me.

Usually, he gets up much earlier than me. A quick glance at my phone tells me it's almost eleven forty-five and I've got several text messages. I consider ignoring them, but I can't bring myself to do it. It's not often I wake up to ten text messages. The first is a message from Tallulah.

Really hoping everything is okay after yesterday. Landon said you were upset. Love you. Here if you need anything. Lou xxx

My response is significantly shorter;

I'm fine. All is good. Sorry for all the drama. xx

There's a message from Theo apologising as if it's his fault. He's such a muppet. This is completely on me, not him.

There are several texts from Aileen, turns out mum had called her after everything blew up here. I'm surprised Aileen answered the phone to her, to be honest.

One family dinner can't possibly make up for all the bad blood between them.
