Chapter 111: Waiting for Aurora

Landon's POV:

My day is tedious and dull as I wait for Aurora to come home. By all accounts, I've never been so uninterested in marketing and advertising. I try to distract myself with meetings with my directors and trying to focus on some of the P and P take over stuff, but nothing keeps my attention for more than a few moments.

It's been a strange week.

I've spent more time on my phone than was probably sensible, texting Aurora... sexting to be more precise. The most exciting moment of my day is when I'd received a few short texts from Aurora just before she was due to take off but that had been about an hour ago now and I just can't focus.

A few months ago, the idea of displaying this lack of control would not only have been foreign to me but it would have disgusted me. It's amazing how much Aurora Stone has changed me. I think for the better. I'm surprised and quite angry when Lisa, my assistant barges into my office in a flustered mess.
