My parents have gone by the time that Mark and Anthony arrive to interview me.
"Alright kiddo," Mark calls from the doorway as they barge into the room.
"Hi guys," I reply.
"What are you like? Always getting yourself stuck right in the middle of it all," Anthony quirks.
"Trouble is my middle name," I joke, although the look on Trent's face tells me he's not impressed, although he doesn't deny that it's true.
"Fortunately, you've got the DCI here to keep you safe." Anthony winks at me.
"Fat lot of good it does her, when she runs off," Walker grumbles.
The guys murmur their agreement before sitting themselves down beside my bed. Walker is stood by the window. He's on edge. He doesn't like this, any more than I do.
"Right Georgie," Mark says, "you know the drill. Can you tell us about what happened?"
I nod, take a deep breath and then begin.
