Less than ten minutes later we're walking into Thorpe's, a restaurant that I've never been to before. As the waitress leads us to our table, I'm surprised to see Georgia sat there waiting for us with her mum and sister.
Georgia's smile is strangely bright considering that she was so furious to be going wedding dress shopping today.
"Hello you," I say softly as I kiss her cheek before sitting down next to her at the table.
"Hiya," she replies softly.
"I hear you chose a dress," I say, trying my best to sound indifferent.
Nodding her head, she twists in her seat to look at me. She looks almost excited but I'm too scared to hope for that.
"It's perfect," she tells me.
"Really?"
I've almost completely forgotten about the others at the table with us, I'm so engrossed in our conversation. It might not be much but her sudden enthusiasm is more than I'd hoped for. Heck, I hadn't even expected her to choose a dress let alone for her to actually love it.
