Chapter 30

Kim reached down the box and put it on the bed. It was full of photographs and letters, bound up neatly in string. Right at the top, wrapped in tissue paper, was the wedding album.

"Here," Tilly said, flipping through the photographs of her and the bridesmaids, and of her and Johnny standing at the door of the church, until she reached that of Johnny and the best man. Tilly gave a little sigh. He was so handsome, Johnny, in his dress uniform, smiling at the camera. Ravi, standing beside him, was looking rather more serious. He had taken the responsibilities of best man very seriously indeed and hadn't really relaxed until after the speeches.

"There are others, but I'd have to look for them."
