Athena was out of breath when she got to the top of the hill and stood a moment resting, bent over slightly with her hands on her upper thighs. Then she straightened up, took the phone out of her belt and waved to Hephaestus.
A tinny voice came out of the device. "OK, stand back. I'm sending it through now."
Instantly a chisel appeared in the box.
"Wow!" said Athena.
"I take it that it arrived safely?"
"Yeah. Amazing! Wow!"
Back in his workshop Hephaestus rolled his eyes. "What is it? What does it look like?"
"What?" She stared at the box. Surely he knew what he'd just sent? "Well. It's some kind of tool. Made of metal."
"Good. Now, you see that red button on the side?"
"Yes."
"Press it. We'll check that it works both ways."
She pressed the button and the chisel instantly disappeared.
"Yey!" shouted Athena.
Back in his workshop Hephaestus opened the box and took out the chisel. "Yey, indeed," he said; then into the phone. "You can come down now."
