"Tell me, Sensei," the Dragon King's voice boomed, "how do I look?''
"Your majesty," he exclaimed, "you look human!"
The Dragon King had assumed his human form once more. Yuta had to admit he had done it well. He thought the Dragon King could pass as a human, if a tall and tanned one, even at a short distance. A small cloud lingered over his head, tangled in the trees at the edge of the clearing.
"Do I?" The Dragon King extended his arms and regarded his long hands, the nails now less claw-like and more like those of a human, though the nails were still long by Western standards. He wore the same frock coat and narrow trousers fastened with the same dragon buckle that Noriko had described as what he had worn before. The tendrils on his head were either encased in or had become the same top hat Noriko had told him about.
