Chapter 35: Weird Looking People

"Was it Herodotus or Plato?" was the first thought that crossed my mind when I woke up. When they were young, one of these two heard adults gossip, behind pulled curtains, about the lost civilization of Atlantis. They told stories and instructed each other not to mention anything about it in the presence of their children. Jacques Grimault believed that all ancient sites around the world were connected by the same imaginary line that crossed the globe, later revealed as the Old Equator. One civilization that ruled in harmony over the entire planet, who were much more technologically advanced than we are, built all the great sites and knew astrology and the power of constellation over Earthlings. That had all ended when the Great Flood came and the rest was silence, rather than history.
