I think about Lys - or is it Kestrel? - often. She will always be Lys to me. My thoughts have gone in a number of directions.

Anyone who knows me as a grown man knows I try to be the best being I can be. That doesn't mean I do it; it only means I attempt it in ways that I can observe. I still try.

There is a difference between a man and a good male being. There are men who can win bar fights, score women, and get it up five times a day who are failures as beings. There are physical bullies, at least in situations that advantage them. They are afraid of things that test them.
