Lay a trap

"Merchants that come from both the Northwest and the West all take the same route to come here. They go through the Crossroads that intersect all the regions in the empire and then around the Screaming Forest—but not on the side where the borders lie—they go around the side of the forest that faces the South." said Erion.

I only nodded my head as a reply, turning my attention to the golden-haired prince who approached us, carrying every regal demeanor that of a Crown Prince.

Still wearing our white cloaks, we now stood by the road where the Phantom Thief usually does his deed. The weight of Shire's body on my shoulder and the cloak that we wore added to the searing heat of the morning sun.

"He says it's alright—that he was about to let his horses rest anyway." Prince Alistair said the moment he returned in front of us.

He was the one to approach a passing merchant that had just came by.
