And three days went by just like that. At school, he met other teachers and got to meet with more of his fellow classmates. While at work, he stood behind his desk and waited by playing on his wrist-com.

And now was the time for his coworker's presentation, he had high hopes.

After a moment, the six members under his charge went to the middle of the area. They had brought their chairs along, just like Ron did. He asked them who would go first and it seemed like none of them were interested by such an honor. Some things were similar regardless of whether you were a student or a worker, no one liked to be first in this kind of situation.

Fortunately, Ron had learned how to deal with this situation thanks to school. He would just do what one of the teachers did. He would pick someone himself. He checked his name list he had prepared and picked the guy at the top. They were classified by first letter of their names. This guy was called Alban, tough luck. He ended up going first while grumbling…

From there, all the workers introduced themselves in their own ways. One used technology, one simply spoke and one used a few drawings. They all had their abilities and personalities. It made for a very interesting event and soon enough, even the workers themselves were into it. They teased the others and asked questions. It got their attention. Ron asked the most questions though. It didn't feel disrespectful to the workers, on the contrary, they felt like he cared. And that was important. The fact was that he did. If he didn't grasp what his job was after this, he would be royally fucked.

Apparently, his team was in charge of designing a new car model for the company. There would be a fair organized by headquarters to select the designs that would be produced and sold. And they were late compared to the original schedule. Because the design wasn't finished and that was the job of the head engineer.

Obviously, Ron didn't have the slightest idea on what to do. And while four hours wasn't long, it couldn't be spent solely on the six presentations. Ron had to do something else.

He pondered for a moment before he pointed to the holographic design. Then, he asked the guys what was missing there. They began to tell him which parts were missing. He had no idea what they meant. He wondered if they even spoke the same language…

Regardless, even if he didn't have the slightest clue, it proved that those guys did. And that was more than enough. He waved a hand and told them to just think of ways to add them and ask him for approval once they finished it. Also, he deliberately leaked the whole plan in order for everyone to understand the entirety of the project. The workers felt it to be slightly unexpected as engineers were the kind that arrogantly preferred to be the only ones with things in hands. They felt that they managed to be recognized for their worth by this young engineer. After all, he was giving them quite the task. Designing constructs was something only engineers usually did because their names would be the ones under the project. It would be Ron that would be lynched if things went bad. They respected him even more after this. Having a young boss was scary at first but the guy was caring, respectful and he trusted them enough to give them such important tasks that could ruin his future if they failed… His character impressed them.

Of course, he had no idea of the implications behind what he did. To Ron, it was just a way of having those who knew how to do things to do them. If he had been aware of the risks, he wouldn't have… No, he would still have left it to them. After all, it would still be better than if he did it himself anyways.

And so, the work progressed in such a way that Ron still lazed about until Friday night. There would be no school and no work during the week-end, he was very pleased about it. As everyone was leaving, he had to stay behind to close the doors of the hangar. As the man in charge, it was his job. Though he only learnt it today. He would probably have someone make duplicates of the key for the other workers as he didn't want to stay overtime for this crap.

As he was locking the doors, a woman in her thirties approached him. She had long black hair and wore a relaxed outfit like everyone else working in the hangars. He didn't know who she was but she introduced herself right as he noticed her:

"Hi there, you must be the new head for the car project? I am Sani Baz, you can call me Sani, I am the psychologist working on the robotic project next door"

Since she greeted him warmly, he did the same: "That would be me, yes. My name is Ron Morgensen, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Sani"

There was a short silence as Ron went back to locking the doors. As he finished with that task, Sani was still there. He didn't think much of it and was ready to bid her goodbye. However, she spoke first: "Well, have you had dinner yet, Ron?"
