Don't need Call Anymore

One missed call

If the call came up early, maybe Jessica would immediately pick it up without thinking or waiting for the ringtone to run out. Jessica wants to laugh but feel sad at the same time. Is she waiting for this person?

Why does it feel like Jessica doesn't need that call anymore?

Her cell phone rings a second time. Meanwhile, Jessica just staring at the phone expressionless. Should she pick up the phone?

"I thought your ringtone was different, is that an important call?"

"Ah, no, this is nothing." The second ring tone is finished playing and the call goes into the missed call box.

Jessica put down her cell phone and was ready to continue eating when her cell phone rang for the third time and Thomas immediately caught the name on the screen. Jessica pressed the power button to turn off her cellphone.

That's Hans. Why did Jessica not immediately pick it up and turn it off instead? Does the woman feel she doesn't want to be bothered by Hans or can Thomas mean something else?

The man is happy for no reason.

"Let's get this over, I think the people at the office would need me." Jessica sped up her meal while Thomas just agreed as if he didn't know who just called.

Jessica returned to her office at two o'clock. One more hour for lunch this time. Apart from Hans, of course, no one dared to rebuke him.

Jonathan reported on the condition of the office while Jessica was away. There wasn't much to report, so he didn't say much to Jessica.

"Did you report me to Hans?"

What report? Jonathan doesn't remember that he was being a squaler. But he immediately understood what Jessica meant. The woman's lunch problem with Thomas.

"Why would I tell Hans, would he give me extra for a report like that? He would scold me for letting you go out arbitrarily. Especially with a man."

"So you didn't do it?" Even so, Jessica thought Hans already knew about her lunch problem so she suddenly called him.

"I didn't report anything to him. But he did, he called me and scolded me because of you."

"He called you?"

Jessica was not surprised if Jonathan got the sap. "What time did he call you?"

"I guess it wasn't long after you left. Between ten or a quarter past twelve."

Tch, so Hans immediately found out after Jessica left and immediately contacted Jonathan to scold the man. Then why did it take so long to reach him?

Jessica grabbed her cell phone, switched it back on, and glanced at Hans's first incoming call record of the day. 01:12.

Why did Hans only call her after almost an hour had passed ??

Another ring came into Jessica's cell phone at that moment. An expected coincidence, the incoming call from Hans.
