(Emi's POV)
I groaned in pain, my head felt like it was going to explode. "W-Where am I?" I muttered to myself. I must have had a blindfold on, because I was unable to see anything. The faint sound of a man chuckling instantly sent chills down my spine. "Who are you? What do you want with me?" I began questioning whoever was in the room with me.
"You woke up a lot sooner then I thought you would, I'm impressed." The man had a deep voice, one that I had never heard before. "Answer my questions." I demanded as I struggled against the chains that had my hands and feet bound together. "You're in no position to make demands, but I shouldn't have expected anything different. You are his woman." The man stated causing my eyes to widen a bit.
"If you know I'm Commander Levi's other half, then shouldn't you simply return me back to the Spirit Tree? He's going to come looking for me soon, you know." I explained as the man scoffed. The blindfold was suddenly pulled off of my eyes, the bright light causing me to be unable to see for a few moments.
Once my eyes adjusted to the light the man suddenly came in view. He had a brown goatee as well as unruly brown hair to match. He wore a tattered black and white hat that hid most of his face. He looked down at me and smirked. "I can see the boy has good taste in women, too bad the church wants you or I'd keep you for myself." The man bent down eye level with me. His dark eyes seemed familiar in a way as I smirked.
"Levi can barely handle me. What makes you think that you could?" I glared at him as he grabbed me roughly by my chin. "I know I could, but that is besides the point. Once I deliver you to the church I'll get my money and then be on my way." He explained as I kept my harsh gaze on him. "Why does the church still want me? Everyone knows Kami was sealed inside The Spirit Tree. I am no longer her vessel." I stated as he chuckled and released my chin, slamming me down to the ground in the process. I winced in pain as he pushed my head into the hard oak floor.
"That's where you're wrong kid. She may not be inside of your body right now, but that doesn't mean in your next life she wont be back inside of you." The mysterious man stated as my eyes widened. "I hope you know, you could never take Kami on. She would have a great time killing you." I hissed as he pressed my face harder into the floor. "That may be true, but I don't have to fight her. Just Levi, and I know for a fact I could take him." The man stated confidently as I giggled, blood slowly dripping out of the huge gash on my forehead. The man grabbed me by my blonde hair and pulled my face off of the ground.
"Mind telling me what is so damn funny?" The man asked as I sighed. "You seem to forget who my fiancé is. His nickname is humanity's strongest. He kills titans for fun, killing someone like you will be a piece of cake for him." I stated as the man smirked. "You really think so, princess?" He let go of my hair and walked over to the bar that was in the room. The man poured two drinks as he smirked.
"You like whiskey?" The man asked as I raised my eyebrows, keeping silent. He then walked back over to me and sat me up against the wall as he raised the glass to my lips. "No, I don't drink." I explained, as I remembered the tiny pea size baby that was inside of me. The man tilted his head as it took him a few minutes to connect the dots.
"Woah, did the pipsqueak get you pregnant? Now I'm really impressed. Does that mean I'm going to be a grandpa?" The man asked as my eyes widened a bit. "What? Why would you.." I muttered as the man placed his dirty finger against my plump lips. "I'm not surprised, Levi never told you about me did he?" The man asked as I kept my fierce golden eyes on him. "No, maybe because you're irrelevant." I smirked as he rolled his eyes.
"I wouldn't call myself irrelevant, I am the one who taught Levi everything he knows. I saved that boy from poverty and death. Without me you would have never met him. My name is Kenny...Kenny Ackerman." He explained as my eyes widened. Levi never spoke of this man before, but if he was telling the truth, then this man is a huge problem.
"Do you want a cookie? You did something good in your life, now I'm the one who's impressed." I stated cockily as Kenny smirked. "You sure do have an attitude on you, don't you?" Kenny spoke as he grabbed the cup of whiskey and took a huge swig. "I might, It's not like I can kick your ass right now since my hands are tied." I hissed. Kenny leaned in towards me, our faces only a few inches apart.
"Maybe I won't take you to the church, I'll just keep you for myself." He explained as I took the opportunity to smash my forehead into his as hard as I could. I winced in pain as Kenny groaned. As soon as he recollected himself he smacked me as hard as he could across my face. "You stupid bitch!" He yelled as I spat out some blood that had collected in my mouth. The copper taste caused my stomach to churn in agony. "You can sit here and think about how stupid what you just did was. I'll be back later to see if you had a change of attitude." Kenny explained as he stood up and left the shabby room.
I have to get out of here, but how? I scanned the room for anything I could use to pick the lock on the chains that held my wrists and ankles together. "Don't worry baby, mommy will figure this out and daddy will come save us.." I muttered to the nauseas feeling in the pit of my stomach. I used all the strength I had to drag myself over to the wooden bar, looking to see if I could find something to use. I saw a small bobby pin sitting on the floor behind the bar as I smirked.
"Were getting out of here baby, mommy wont let you or daddy down." I stated as I wiggled myself across the floor to the bobby pin. Every muscle and bone in my body screamed in pain as I finally reached the extremely small pin. I lined my back up with the pin and struggled to reach it. After a few tries I finally secured the pin in my hands as I sighed in relief. "Come on Emi you can do this.." I muttered to myself as I did the best I could to pick the lock but to no avail it wouldn't budge. I bit my lower lip as tears began to stream down my face. I was trapped, and there was nothing I could do but survive.
