Reactions.

A beat must always go along with the singing pace, that is what defines a good producer and a talented artiste. For a song to be pleasing to the ears of the listeners, those two aspects must match solely well together to form a good song. A beat can't be rapid why the singing pace is slow or vice-versa.

Mark and Ben are fully aware of this 'cause Ben isn't just any type of producer, he is a talented and well-experienced music producer. He had been producing music since his early twenties before he even met with Mark. He had worked with a lot of talented artistes in the past and even presently, so the corresponding of beat and singing pace wasn't new stuff to him.

Mark wasn't just any kind of artiste either, raw talent was the best word that could be used to describe how talented Mark was as an artiste. If only his songs could reach out to more people, the world would recognize how gifted he was. So the corresponding stuff wasn't new to him either, the only problem was that they weren't fully prepared for the recording, they would have to start from the onset once again.

Ben began creating another beat, this time closely following Mark as he rewrote some of the lyrics. Mark made some changes to the lyrics so it would appear more standard, for the messages in the song to stand out. It took some minutes more before Ben could conclude the creating of the other beat, Mark also climaxed the rewriting of his lyrics.

Instantly, they began the recording once again, and it was going smoothly. The beat was flowing well with Mark's singing pace and lyrics. Mark made use of a lot of vulgar and abusive words in the lyrics making sure to diss John and Henry to his satisfaction. He didn't care about how people would react to the song, he just poured out his heart content in the song expressing how much he hates them.

They concluded the recording of the song and saved it to the studio's statistics computer. Ben's facial expression indicated that he was a bit uncomfortable with the song they just recorded. The way and manner Mark dissed and insulted John and Henry in the song was making him uneasy. He had a feeling that things might go wrong after the release of the song.

Mark noticed the uneasiness on Ben's face, he noticed that something was wrong, and he had a feeling that it was as a result of the song they just recorded. He came closer to Ben and said,

"Something is bothering you, and I know it is as a result of the song we just recorded, right?"

"Yeah, I am still not comfortable with the way you dissed and insulted John and Henry in the song we just recorded. This would give rise to negative reactions, we don't know what could happen after we drop the song". Ben said expressing out his innermost thoughts.

"I understand how you feel, I feel the same way also, but John and Henry think they can make fun of me without I retaliating, but am gonna prove them wrong with this song. I know lots of things might go wrong with the release of this song, but let's drop it just for them to know how much I really despise them". Mark stated.

"I'm gonna cooperate with you on this 'cause it's for you, they shouldn't have the guts to scorn you after what they did to you, they deserve to be insulted. You've gone through a lot in life as an artiste, you don't deserve to be scorned by anyone or any damn famous artiste. This song is surely gonna be released, you have my support on this". Ben said assuring Mark of his support.

"Thanks man". Mark uttered with a broad smile on his face, "Is my label boss gonna be aware of the song before it's release?".

"No, I am sure he would never concur to the release of the song, we are gonna drop the song without his awareness".

"But he is surely gonna find out after the release of the song".

"We would receive whatever outrage that comes from him then, but as for the song, he wouldn't be able to do anything about it.....It would have been on all streaming platforms by then". Ben stated smirking a little.

A little smirk formed on Mark's face also, "That's true, it would have been too late by then, I really appreciate that you are helping me on this".

"Anything for you Mark, I am gonna be heading over to Harry's studio right now, he has some written songs he wants me to produce for him". Ben uttered already standing on his feet holding his half-drunk bottle of 'pinot noir' wine in his hand.

"Ok, but before you go, when is the release schedule for the song?". Mark inquired of Ben.

"Tomorrow or next tomorrow, mostly next tomorrow".

"That's nice planning, you are free to go now, make sure to produce Harry's songs effectively, well, I trust you on that, you are the best producer I know".

"Thanks for that Mark, so encouraging, gonna be leaving now...Bye".

"Bye". Mark said waving slightly at Ben as he evacuated the studio.

Not being afraid of how people would react to the hate song they recorded about two popular artistes. Mark and Ben released the song on the scheduled day. They made sure Gary didn't find out about the song or have a single clue that they recorded such a song. The only person that was fully aware of the song was Mark's manager, Jeffrey, and he was sure to keep his mouth shut about it. He didn't stay silent about the song because he was too nice or he wanted to support Mark in his decision to record a despise song about John and Henry.

He kept silent because he didn't want to be a part of it. He didn't want to take part in the insults and negative reactions when they start coming in. Not too long after the release of the song, Mark started receiving some negative comments on his social media handles. He received malicious comments like,

"An upcoming artiste having the audacity to throw shades at two famous artistes.....do you wanna be doomed?"

"Wow! you've got the guts".

"Do you know that you are just like an ant in the eyes of John and Henry?"

"Poor little thing wants the fame".

"No matter what they did to you in the past, you shouldn't have the audacity to sing such a song about them. You are just an upcoming artiste, you shouldn't diss or throw abusive shades at them".

"I don't want to call you this, but I think I would have to....idiot!".

Mark shook his head in wonder as to how people reacted to the song and the malicious comments they sent to him. They didn't care about the anger, hatred, and agony that compelled him to sing such a song about them. As far as the song was directed at two famous artistes, they don't give a fuck about what he was feeling inside, to hell to the hate and anger he was feeling towards them.

Out of all the messages that were sent to Mark, only one happens to be positive, the message reads,

"After listening to the hate song, I then understood why you despise them so much and why you poured out your heart content in a song. But you still have to be careful 'cause they are both big artistes in the music industry".

Mark was really pleased with the positive comment, the person must surely be a fan of his. Not too long after Mark received those malicious comments from people, his label boss invited him to his house through a text message, he was aware of the hate song already. If it wasn't for the sake of respect, Mark would have declined his invitation, but that honor has to be there always.

Arriving at Gary's house, he knocked at the door three times before it was opened by an unknown guy. He stepped into the house to see Gary sitting on one of the sofas with a serious look on his face. Mark couldn't care less about the serious look inscribed on his boss's face, but it started to dawn on him that his boss was already aware of the hate song. He was expecting his boss to offer him a seat on one of the couches, but it was vice-versa, so Mark made himself comfortable on one of the couches.

"Sir, you invited me over to your house, any problem?". Mark inquired of his boss as he had been silent since Mark arrived at his house.

Gary turned over to Mark now glancing directly into his eyes. A bit of rage was evident in those scowling eyes of his.

"How could you!" That single word that flowed out of Gary's mouth had already given Mark a hint of what he was talking about.
