Who I Am

"Your majesty, based on my research, there are around four culprits, and one of them is Jay," Timothy informed.

"Don't forget to keep this a secret," Cameron reminded.

"Your majesty, it's been more than a week, but there's still no new information."

"There's no rush. You should take a rest first. I'll give you a day off tomorrow so that you'll be able to visit your family."

Timothy bowed. "Thank you, your majesty."

Meanwhile...

(At an unknown kingdom)

"Antonio, father's dying and we haven't found Mateo yet," a woman said.

"Valentina, we'll find him soon," a man responded.

Antonio and Valentina, the rulers of both the Wind and Earth kingdom, had always been admired by thousands of people. They are known to be really good at investigating different types of cases except Mateo's case. Mateo is Valentina's brother who had been missing for around twenty years. They did everything just to find him, but there's nothing.

Valentina sighed, "He's been missing for around twenty years. He might even be dead by now."

Antonio pulled her into a hug. "I'm sure he isn't. Don't worry too much. I'll help the guards find him."

Tears started falling from Valentina's eyes. "Even though I was only with him for a few years, he's still my little brother."

"I'm sure Mateo is living a great life now. Should we still find him?"

"Of course. That's my father's dying wish. We only have around three weeks to find him before father dies."

Antonio then told her, "Cry all you want. I'll just be here with you."

"Thank you, Antonio. It's been nine years since we've married and I can see that you are always there for me even if I sometimes push you away," Valentina said as she hugged Antonio.

"We should always be—"

Before he could even finish, a servant suddenly knocked and told them that Gabriel was looking for them. When Antonio and Valentina went in Gabriel's room, a boy ran to hug them. Valentina then asked the little boy what he wanted to play.

Gabriel smiled. "Whatever father and mother likes."

Gabriel, the only son of the king and queen, is the most stubborn boy you'll ever meet, but he still gets what he wants because he uses his cute face to make people not want to reject him.

Antonio said, "Gabriel, Dad and mom can't play with you today."

"Why not?" Gabriel folded his arms.

"We have to find your uncle. That's why you have to behave okay?" Valentina patted the little boy's head.

"But before we go, we'll tuck you in first," Antonio added.

When Gabriel fell asleep, Antonio and Valentina went to the king's bedroom. Valentina then told her father that Mateo was impossible to find.

The king responded, "Valentina, Antonio, my only wish is to at least see him personally. Please continue to look for him. I still have a few more weeks."

Valentina said, "Father, Gabriel is only a child, and as his parents, Antonio and I shouldn't—"

"We'll find him," Antonio interrupted.

The king smiled. "Thank you, Antonio."

Valentina furrowed her eyebrows. "Antonio, why did you agree? We need to take care of Gabriel remember?"

Antonio answered, "Valentina, he's already seven. He can take care of himself. Also, it's not like we'll never get to see him again."

"Fine, but I have one request," Valentina agreed.

"What is it?"

"If we find Mateo, I want you to let him marry Lucy."

Lucy, the younger sister of Antonio, is quite a prideful woman. She thinks highly of herself which is why not much people like to be friends with her.

"Mateo is probably around the same age as Lucy now, so it's better if they'd just get married," Valentina explained.

"What if he already has someone he loves?"

Valentina smiled. "Then we'll break them."

"Valentina, that's not right."

"I don't care. Do you want to see him or not?" Valentina asked.

"I do," Antonio replied.

"Then promise me you'll let him marry Lucy..

"Okay, Fine."

When the couple went back to their room, Antonio told Valentina that Mateo didn't need to marry Lucy because Mateo might have someone in his heart already.

Valentina looked at the window beside her. "Then we'll force him to like Lucy."

"What if Lucy doesn't like him back too?"

"Then I won't force him to marry her."

"I think this is too unfair to Mateo."

"Are you saying you don't agree with me?" Valentina asked.

Antonio replied, "It's not that. We just have to think of what Mateo will feel."

"I'm sure he'll understand. Don't worry about it."

"But—"

Before he could continue, Valentina pecked his lips. "No more buts. Just trust me like how I trust you."

Antonio then kissed her back and told her, "Okay then, darling."

(At an unknown place)

"Sir, when will we release him?" Jay asked.

The voice answered, "In a few weeks. He's not yet ready."

"Sir, I've been told that he's acting like an animal lately."

"That's normal. It's part of the process. If you have nothing else, then leave."

When Jay left, a girl came and told him, "I'm excited to meet him.

"Among all the men in the world, why him?" the voice asked.

"It's probably because of his sense of humor."

"You have such terrible taste. Anyway, what do you want?"

The girl told then informed him that the blue gem's presence has been detected at the Fire kingdom.

"Until now?"

The girl nodded. Then the voice told her that they should wait for a few more months.

The girl scratched her head. "Why not? This is the perfect opportunity."

"No it's not. We aren't even sure where it exactly is."

"Fine, but don't blame me once the gem's presence is gone."
