My Precious Heart

Three days later...

(At the Fire kingdom)

"Eleanor, you okay?" Olivia asked.

Eleanor slowly sat down. "I'm fine. It just felt like the gem was cracking."

"Be careful. Once the gem is fully broken, you'll die."

"I know. I'll be heading to the princess's room first."

"No! Don't."

"Why not?"

Olivia told Eleanor that she should get rest or else the crack will get worse. Eleanor then asked how she knew that there was a crack in the blue gem.

Olivia uttered, "Um..."

"I said tell me," Eleanor demanded.

"I can actually see if the gem is breaking which means I can see through you..."

"How big is the crack?"

Olivia patted her shoulder. "Don't worry. It's just small. That's why get some rest and I'll inform Farah that you won't be working for three days."

Eleanor stood up. "Three days? How about the princess?"

"I'll take care of her." Olivia smiled.

When Olivia told Farah that Eleanor wasn't gonna work for a few days, she then went to Kaycee's room and informed the princess that she'll be the one serving her for the next three days because Eva is feeling unwell.

Kaycee then went closer to Olivia. "Olive, be honest with me."

"About what?"

"About my elder brother. Do you like him or not?"

Olivia looked away. "Your highness, I'm here to take care of you. I can't answer that."

"I don't wanna be mean, but I guess I have no choice. Tell me now or you're fired. It's just a simple question."

"I guess I have no choice then. I don't like him. I only see him as someone who I should serve," Olivia responded.

"Be honest," Kaycee demanded.

"I am, your highness."

"Okay, I won't force you anymore. I respect your decision, and I apologize for being rude just now."

"It's okay, your highness. I'm used to it."

"What do you mean you're used to it?"

"Your highness, I think It would be better if I would just leave first."

The princess said, "No, please stay. I wanna know what happened to you, but if you don't wanna say it, it's fine."

"Your highness, why would you wanna know more about me?" Olivia asked.

"I want you to be my friend. So far, Eva was the only one whose been always there for me, but I can't just rely on her forever. I wanna make new friends."

"I appreciate it, your highness."

"I'm all ears."

Olivia explained that she grew up in a terrible environment, so she escaped. Until one day, she applied as one of the maids in the south. That kingdom she entered wasn't an ordinary kingdom because they didn't treat her like a servant. They treated her as if she was part of the family. Kaycee then asked what the name of that kingdom was.

Olivia lied, "I don't remember, your highness."

"I see. Well I hope that in this kingdom, you'll also feel like your part of our family too," the princess said.

"Your highness, let's get you dressed now."

"For what?"

"Your fiancé is gonna visit you today."

"Oh! I completely forgot!"

When Kaycee got dressed, she headed to the dining hall and saw Adam waiting for her.

Adam looked at the princess. "You look beautiful."

The princess blushed. "Thank you, shall we start eating then?"

Adam smiled. "Sure."

When they started eating, Adam kept eyeing a maid, so he asked Kaycee who she was.

"She's my maid. Why?" the princess replied.

"Tell her to come over. I have something to ask her."

When Olivia came, she asked Adam what he needed. Adam then asked if she was Olivia.

"No, your highness. I'm Olive. Do you know me?"

"You aren't Olivia? Then you must be Olive. You're Allan's sister right?"

"Not anymore."

Kaycee interrupted, "How do you guys know each other?"

Adam answered, "I was her stepbrother's friend."

"Olive, don't you recognize Adam?" Kaycee asked.

"I do, your highness. I just didn't want him to recognize me," Olivia admitted.

"Why not? We've known each other for years." Adam stopped eating to look at her.

"You'd probably hate me for what I did to Allan." Olivia looked at the floor.

"I understand why you killed him and I know you had a reason for that."

Kaycee exclaimed, "You killed him?"

"Yes, your highness, but I had a reason for it," Olivia responded.

The princess smiled. "I see. You're really interesting."

Adam then asked Olivia how she was doing living in the Fire kingdom.

"It's fine," Olivia replied.

"Olive, are you mad at me? Why are you answering me like I've done something wrong to you?" Adam asked.

Olivia bowed. "I have to go now. Enjoy your meal."

"Olive, wait—"

Before Adam could finish, he accidentally tripped and fell on top of Olivia on the floor.

Kaycee said, "Get up, Adam."

Adam then instantly got up and explained, "It wasn't on purpose, Kaycee."

"I apologize, your highness," Olivia added.

"Among all the things you could fall on, why her?" Kaycee said as tears started falling from her face.

Olivia explained, "Your highness, We didn't—"

Before Olivia could finish, a voice suddenly interrupted, "Kaycee, why are you jealous?"

"Elder brother, what are you doing here?" the princess asked.

"I came here to tell you that you're jealousy is unnecessary."

"I'm not."

Carson said, "Then why are you crying? Adam already explained that it was an accident."

"I said I'm not," the princess responded.

"Just to make it clear, Adam and Olive has nothing to do with each other because Olive is mine," Carson said before kissing Olivia in front of them.

Olivia's eyes then suddenly widened, while on the other hand, Adam and Kaycee where just staring at them, astounded.

Carson stated, "She's mine, so don't worry about your fiancé falling for her."

"Ummm... Okay. Got it," Kaycee responded.

"Kaycee, We should leave," Adam asserted.

When Adam and Kaycee left, Carson looked at Olivia and asked why her face was red.

Olivia slapped Carson."Who are you to kiss me without my consent?"

"Like I said, You're mine and I'm yours."

"Did I even agree to that?" Olivia asked as tears started falling from her face.

The prince then grabbed her shoulders, pulling her roughly against him and kissed her lips in a demanding way that was filled with anger than anything else. He kept kissing her, which caused her to have shortness of breath. His kiss was demanding, hot and quick. Olivia waited for him to release her, but his lips moved across her cheek and down to her neck.

Olivia yelled, "Can you stop? I'm tired of this! Stop playing with my feelings!"

Carson responded, "No matter how much you push me away, I won't stop doing this."

Olivia then started walking away, but Carson instantly grabbed her wrist and confessed, "Olive, I like you."
