(At the Fire kingdom)
The prince looked at the woman standing in front of him and told her that he has already given her enough time. The woman then sighed and told him that she hasn't decided yet.
Carson looked at the floor. "Olive, Is it really so hard to forgive me?"
Olivia started cleaning the table. "I just don't want to make another mistake."
"I promise that I won't hurt you again."
"I don't believe in promises. Promises are just meant to be broken."
"Olive, please!"
Olivia stopped to look at him. "Your highness, I'm working. Please don't distract me."
"Fine. I'll come back in a few weeks, but you better have an answer by then," Carson ended.
(In the throne room)
Cameron asked Julia what his mother wanted to tell him. Julia then told him that they have figured out that Sebastian is the missing prince of the Earth kingdom.
Cameron leaned back on his chair. "Why would she even care about that?"
Julia bowed. "It's because she's good friends with the king and queen of the Earth kingdom."
"Isn't Sebastian the prince of the Water kingdom?"
"Yes, he is."
"How in the world did he even get there?"
"Your mother said that it's the king of the Earth kingdom who gave Sebastian to them because his wife hated him," Julia explained.
The king stated, "How dull."
"Anything else, your majesty?"
"Call the princess."
When Kaycee went in the royal hall, she told the king that Carson had been nagging Olive lately. Cameron then smiled and told her that she didn't need to worry because he knows his limits.
"I see. Then what did you call me for?" Kaycee asked.
Cameron continued reading the book he was holding. "Are you interested in helping me find the culprit?"
"Really? You're finally allowing me?"
"Lower down your voice."
Kaycee smiled. "So what will I do?"
"I need you to investigate Eva and Olive," Cameron replied.
"You suspect them?"
"I don't. I just feel like they're hiding something."
"How could they possibly be the culprit? Father already went missing before they even arrived," Kaycee responded.
"I'm just curious why Carson likes Olive so much," Cameron said.
"Then why do I have to investigate Eva too?"
"Same reason. I'm just curious."
Meanwhile...
(In the maid's room)
Olivia told Eleanor that Sebastian is Mateo. Eleanor then asked if he knew his true identity.
"Most likely not." Olivia scratched her head.
"That's really obnoxious, Olivia," Eleanor said as she looked at Olivia's eyes.
"What?"
"Stop giving me that ominous look."
"I'm just skeptical about it."
Eleanor sank into her chair. "I'm a lot more worried about Mia."
Olivia sighed, "She's timid."
"That's not what we're suppose to talk about, Olivia."
"Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that we shouldn't be so credulous."
Eleanor looked at the window beside her. "Mia is probably in pain right now."
Olivia responded, "She's notorious for being stoic."
"She isn't. She's just capricious."
"Isn't Mateo suppose to marry Lucy?"
"That's right. Sebastian wouldn't be able to get away with it because it's the king and queen who planned it."
"Shouldn't we go back?"
Eleanor then explained that they shouldn't go back because there'll just be more conflict so they should just focus on their target now, the red gem.
(At an unknown place)
"Didn't I tell you to keep an eye on them?" the voice shouted.
"I'm sorry, sir," a woman cried.
"Jay, kill her."
"Sir, please! I have a family!"
"Your task was just as simple as watching over a dog! I won't show you any mercy now!"
"Sir—"
Before she could even continue, Jay thrusted a dagger into her stomach and smiled. "It's time for you to go, Aviana."
Aviana, a slave of Jay, was killed because she lost track of Eleanor and Olivia. She did everything she could just to follow them, but she still failed. A few days ago, due to fatigue, she fainted. Jay didn't give her enough food and water, and she walked nonstop, which made her feel tired and hungry.
The voice said, "Seems like your skills have improved, Jay."
"I've practiced all night, sir," Jay said as he looked at the dead body.
"Dispose it."
"Yes, sir."
When Jay left, Jack came and informed, "He's ready."
"When do you plan on letting him out then?" the voice asked.
"Give me a month. I need to make sure that he won't be committing any mistakes."
"I don't want any conflicts."
"Trust me. I've been watching him all day."
"You've been working for me for around a year, why be so loyal?"
Jack then explained that they haven't been working for long, but he believes that if they work together, then they'll be able to get things done as soon as possible.
The voice said, "Then I look forward to working with you, Jack."
