My Heart, His Heart

The next day...

(At the Water kingdom)

Mia asked when Sebastian will be back. The servant then told her that she didn't have to worry for Sebastian keeps his words.

Mia sat on her chair. "I guess your right. Any news about Eleanor?"

The servant sighed, "None, your majesty."

"What a futile investigation."

"Your majesty, you have to be positive. I'm sure that everything's gonna be alright," the servant comforted.

"Thank you, Alice," said Mia.

Alice, the servant that Mia's parents had entrusted to her, is the type of friend Mia had always wanted. She's really supportive and a good comforter. Whenever Mia has problems concerning Sebastian, she would always run to her.

Alice smiled. "It's my pleasure, your majesty. If you need someone to talk to, I'm always here."

Mia looked at the ceiling. "I just can't stop thinking about Lucy and Sebastian. They do seem to be a perfect match."

"Your majesty, don't say that. Sebastian's heart only belongs to you."

"There's no use in saying that if we can't be together."

"Your majesty, everything's gonna be alright," Alice responded.

"How can you even say that?" Mia asked.

"Your majesty, please be optimistic."

"How can I if Sebastian is going to marry another girl?"

"Your majesty, although I'm not good at comforting, I would like to share a story that might be able to help you."

"Go ahead."

"I once had someone I loved too, but that person loved another woman. I felt assured when I was with him. I thought that he was the missing piece in my heart. Until one day, he left me a note in my room saying that he didn't love me anymore because he was tired of our relationship. Of course, I didn't believe such a thing, so I went to the cafe where we would always go to for our dates. Then I saw him with another woman and I confronted them. I asked him why he left me for another woman and he said that it's because he never really loved me. He just used me because I had money."

"I'm sorry, Alice."

"There was nothing I could do. He broke my heart," Alice said as tears started falling from her face.

The queen responded, "I'm glad you've moved on."

Alice then told her that their love still has a chance because they both love each other.

Mia smiled. "Thank you, Alice. You've changed my perspective."

"It's my pleasure, your majesty. I don't want you to end up like me," Alice responded.

(At the Fire kingdom)

Kaycee ran to her brother and told him that it was almost his birthday. Cameron then sighed and told her that birthdays didn't need to be celebrated because they are just like a typical day.

The princess rolled her eyes. "Stop being so apathetic."

The king looked at the book he was holding. "What's even so special about my birthday?"

"You're turning twenty two."

"It's not my one hundredth birthday. What's there to celebrate?"

"I'll arrange everything for you."

"No need," the king responded.

The princess smiled. "It's my gift."

"Fine, as long as you don't humiliate me."

When Kaycee left the king's room, she immediately went to Eleanor and told her that Cameron's birthday is in two days.

Eleanor said, "That's great, your highness."

"Would you like to help me in preparing the party?" the princess asked.

"I'm really busy, your highness."

"His birthday is in two days! I can't do it alone! Please!"

"Your highness, I would love to, but there's a lot of things I need to do."

"I didn't even order you to do anything. Why are you so busy lately?"

"Farah told me to clean the royal hall."

The princess yelled, "What? I'll talk to her! She isn't suppose to order you around! Stop what you are doing now."

"Your highness, I can't—"

"Stop," Kaycee interrupted.

Eleanor bowed. "Your highness, Please don't be angry with Farah."

"I'm not angry, Its just irritating. I'll tell brother to fire her if she keeps this up."

"Your highness, it's my fault."

"Even if you say it's your fault, I won't blame you," the princess responded.

After a short chat, the princess went to Carson's bedroom and told him that she needed help for the preparation of the party. The prince then told her that he didn't have time to help her because he has a lot more other things to worry about.

The princess put her arms on her waist. "Stop thinking about Olive. You should know the consequences of your actions."

Carson sighed, "Does she even care?"

"Most likely not."

"Don't make me lose hope."

"I'm stating facts."

"Please stop."

"Then help me."

"You have Eva."

Kaycee responded, "By helping me, you'll be able to prove to Olive that you aren't a stubborn prince who only knows how to play with people's feelings."

"What makes you think she'll think that way?" the prince asked.

"I'm a girl. I know what most girls think."

"Okay, fine. Tell me what to do then. I'll try my best."
