The next day, Eleanor went to the princess's bedroom and informed her that the king just woke up. The princess then smiled at her as she ran towards Cameron's bedroom.
(In the king's bedroom)
"What do you want?" Cameron yawned.
"Happy birthday!" Kaycee greeted.
"Thanks. You can leave now."
"Second brother, let's pick your clothes."
The king stretched his arms. "It's still early."
The princess put her arms on her waist. "We have to be prepared."
"It's not even your birthday."
Kaycee giggled. "I'm excited because you're going to see Eva in a backless gown today."
The king's face turned red. "Who cares about her?"
"You do."
The king then asked where Eva got the money to buy a gown.
The princess smirked. "I bought it for her."
Cameron got a cup of water. "Stop buying her clothes."
"Why? Is it because your scared that if she wears them you'll want her more?"
"Like I said, I don't care."
"Okay, okay. Get dressed now. Today's your big day."
(In the maid's room)
Eleanor asked Olivia what she should wear. Olivia then told her to wear the red gown that the princess gave her.
Eleanor sighed, "It's not my type."
Olivia asked, "Didn't she tell you to wear it?"
Eleanor held the gown. "She did, but I really feel uncomfortable wearing it."
"Just endure it. It'll only be for a few hours."
"What will you be wearing then?"
Olivia smiled. "The blue dress that the prince bought for me."
"I see. Then I'll be wearing the red gown then."
A few hours later, night came and all guests have arrived. The king then went to the center of the ball room and greeted everyone. After entertaining some guests, the king went to Carson and told him that the suit he was wearing looked good on him.
"Thanks. You look great too." the prince smiled.
The king chuckled. "What's with the blue suit?"
"Olive is wearing a blue dress."
"How'd you know she'd be wearing a blue dress?"
"I bought it for her."
"Where is she then?" Cameron asked.
"You're just looking for Eva aren't you?" Carson teased.
"I just want to see whether you are telling the truth or not."
"I'll bring you to them."
As soon as the prince saw Olive and Eva, he instantly dragged the king away from the crowd. The prince then told them that they looked beautiful.
Eleanor smiled. "Thanks."
"You look good too," Olivia added.
The prince looked at his brother. "Don't you think Eva looks beautiful, Cam?"
Cameron cleared his throat. "They both look gorgeous."
"I'm asking about Eva."
"She's lovely."
"Thank you, your majesty." Eleanor bowed.
"If you would Excuse us, your majesties, Eva and I have to prepare tonight's dish," Olivia interrupted.
As Eleanor started walking away with Olivia, the king asked his brother why she wore the backless red dress.
"Our sister forced her," Carson answered.
The king scratched his head. "I don't want people seeing her wear those kinds of clothes."
Carson put his arm on his shoulder. "You don't want other people to see her, don't you?"
"I just don't want any problems in my birthday."
Meanwhile...
(In the royal kitchen)
Farah told the servants to bring out all the dishes that have been prepared. When all the dishes were served to the guests, everyone started eating.
(At the king's table)
The king asked who cooked the crab that was on his plate. The prince then told him that it was probably the royal chefs who did it.
Cameron sighed, "They know I hate crabs."
Kaycee smiled. "Shall I call Eva then? She was in charge to prepare some of the dishes."
When Eleanor came, the king asked her if she was the one who cooked the buttered crab. Eleanor then nodded.
The king asked, "Among all the foods you could cook, why crabs?"
Eleanor smiled. "The princess told me that you like it."
"I see. You may leave now."
When Eleanor left, Cameron glared at the princess and asked her why she told Eva that he liked crabs.
The princess scratched her head. "I thought you'd like it."
Cameron sighed, "You knew I hated crabs."
"I'm sorry, brother."
"It's fine. I'll just eat it," the king said as he started eating the crab.
Then Carson and the princess could only gaze at him with astonishment.
"You actually ate it?" the princess asked.
Cameron stopped to look at them. "Why not? Its delicious."
The prince said, "You have never eaten crabs."
"Seems like I find it appetizing today."
A few hours after the party ended, the king requested for Eleanor's presence. When Eleanor arrived, she asked the king what he needed. The king then told her that he was informed that she had a present for him.
Eleanor uttered, "Umm..."
Cameron tilted his head. "What is it?"
"Here. I bought this for you a few days ago. I hope you like it," Eleanor answered as she handed the king the white polo.
"I love it."
"Although It's not like other luxury gifts, it does have a deep meaning."
"Its nice that someone doesn't seem terrified because of me."
Eleanor greeted, "Happy birthday, your majesty."
"You sure are interesting," Cameron said as he kissed her cheek.
"Your majesty—"
"Other people do that for greeting," the king interrupted.
"I never knew there was such thing." Eleanor laughed.
"Hope you enjoyed the night."
"It was wonderful, your majesty. I never knew you were only twenty two."
"How old do I look then?"
Eleanor looked away. "I thought you were around late twenties."
Cameron laughed. "I'm not that old."
