Stuck With You

The next day...

"They're back together...?" Eleanor removed her hair tie.

"They held a wedding a few days ago," said Olivia.

"Wasn't that for Lucy?"

"She gave up on Mateo and decided to let him be with Mia. Well anyway, don't forget to pack your stuff. The plan will be executed within this week."

"What if we get caught?"

"That's why we're taking a risk."

Eleanor asked, "What about the—"

Before she was able to finish, Kaycee suddenly knocked on the door and told her to get ready since they were gonna head to the forest in a few minutes.

Olivia whispered, "I bet the king's coming too."

A few hours later, when they arrived at the forest, Kaycee said told them that they'd be playing a game. The king then asked what game it was.

"It's more of a race," Adam responded.

The princess then explained that Adam and her will be teammates which means that Eleanor and Cameron will be together. The aim is to get the red flag and whoever gets it first wins.

"Where is it?" Cameron asked.

"At the cave over there," Kaycee replied as she pointed at the cave.

"Only the four of us?"

The princess smirked. "Yes."

Adam said, "The game shall start now."

As Cameron and Eleanor were on there way to the cave, Cameron asked if she was scared. Eleanor then told him that she was just being cautious.

Cameron chuckled. "You seem rather timid."

Eleanor smiled. "Your majesty, thank you for your—"

Before Eleanor could finish, she suddenly lost her balance, and fell on the ground. The king's eyes then widened and asked if she was okay.

"I'm fine. My ankle just hurts." Eleanor smiled.

"Can you walk?"

"I think I can."

When Eleanor tried to stand up, the pain in her ankle just got worse, so the king decided to carry her.

"Are you sure, your majesty?" Eleanor asked.

Cameron bent down. "Yes, get on my back now."

"Thank you."

Meanwhile...

"Aren't we suppose to go the other way?" Adam asked.

Kaycee giggled. "Don't you get why we're doing this? We're going to trap them in that cave."

Adam then told the princess that it wasn't a good idea, but the princess just laughed and told him that she knew what she was doing.

"So we aren't going to play the game?" Adam asked.

The princess folded her arms. "Yup. We'll just watch them enjoy it."

A few minutes later...

When Cameron and Eleanor arrived at the cave, they looked for the red flag.

"I found it!" Eleanor held the flag up high.

Cameron yelled back, "That's great—"

Before Cameron could even continue his sentence, big rocks suddenly covered the pathway. Both of them then tried moving the big and heavy rocks, but it was useless. They were stuck inside the cave.

"Let's try shouting just in case the princess hears us."

As they shouted for help, no one came. They also tried moving the rocks again and again, but it was futile.

Eleanor laughed. "Your majesty, I'm having a feeling of dejavú."

Cameron scratched his head. "This is probably my sister's doing."

"I don't think so, your majesty."

"We might have to spend the night here. It's getting dark."

A few hours later, Eleanor and Cameron started feeling cold. The king then ordered her to stay close to him.

Eleanor suggested, "Your majesty, I think it's better if—"

Without letting her finish, he grabbed Eleanor's wrist causing her to crash to his chest and hugged her using his coat.

"It's warmer if we stay closer to each other," Cameron said.

Eleanor then blushed and responded, "Your majesty, this is really inappropriate."

"Who cares about that? I don't care. I'm cold."

"So am I."

"Doesn't it feel a lot warmer if we're together?"

Eleanor closed her eyes. "It does, your majesty."

"You what?" Albert slammed the table.

The princess informed, "They're lost, father. It's been more than five hours, but they haven't returned yet."

"What did you do?"

"I was supposed to play a trick on them."

"Kaycee, don't be childish."

"Father, I was supposed to, but I didn't."

"What do you mean?" Carson asked.

"I was suppose to play a trick on them when they get back," Kaycee replied.

Albert sighed, "There's no use. They'll have to spend the night there."

Kaycee apologized, "I'm sorry."

Carson leaned back on his chair. "It's fine. We'll look for them first thing in the morning."
