Two days later...
(At the Earth kingdom)
"Welcome everyone! The wedding shall start in a moment," Valentina began.
As the flower girls, best mans, maid of honors, bridesmaids, groomsmen, ring bearers and coin bearers started walking down the pathway, people started applauding.
When it was the bride's turn, Lucy started walking down the pathway with her long white gown.
Meanwhile...
(At one of the guest tables)
Ruby asked if the queen was alright.
"I'm fine," Mia lied.
"Mia, we can leave if you want to."
"We're not leaving. Look, the pronouncement of marriage is about to happen."
As the Lucy and Mateo stood in front of everyone, the officiant said, "I now pronounce you husband and—"
"Stop," Lucy interrupted.
Everyone was then left puzzled.
The princess announced, "I'm not marrying Mateo."
As soon as everyone heard that, they started whispering to each other. Valentina then asked the princess what she was doing.
Lucy announced, "Mateo has someone he loves and so do I."
Valentina and Antonio then glared at her, but she didn't care. Mateo then asked her what she meant.
Lucy got a microphone. "Mia, queen of the Water kingdom, come up the stage now."
After a few seconds, Mia still didn't show up, so Lucy went to her table and brought her to the stage which left Mateo astounded.
Lucy pointed at Mia. "This woman here is the woman that Mateo truly loves."
One of the guests asked, "Do you plan to humiliate her?"
"No, I will let them be together," Lucy responded.
"Lucy, are you serious?" Mia whispered.
Tears started falling from Lucy's eyes. "I've tried everything, Mia. His love for you won't change."
Mia sighed, "I'm not marrying Mateo."
"You've misunderstood him, Mia. Mateo ended your relationship because he didn't want you to get hurt. I told him that if he doesn't marry me, I'd kill you."
"Is that true?" Mia asked before turning her head to look at Mateo.
The prince nodded. "Yes, it is. I've always loved you."
The princess interrupted, "I'll get off the stage. You may now exchange your vows."
Mateo said, "Mia, ever since I met you, I've never taken my eyes of you. You've always been there for me. Although we've had misunderstandings, that will make our relationship stronger. I'll try my best to always make you happy. I love you."
"Mateo, although I wasn't aware of your true identity, I could see and feel that you've always treated me special. There are times when I push you away, but you still come back to me. I'll try to give you happiness as long as I live. I love you too," Mia said as tears started falling from her face.
The officiant said, "You may now exchange rings."
As they were exchanging rings, Mia smiled. "I've never knew this day would come."
"I didn't expect It too," the prince responded.
The officiant declared, "I know pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride."
"I love you, darling," Mateo said as he kissed Mia.
The guests then started clapping and cheering for the couple.
After the wedding, Ruby went to the newly wedded couple and told them, "Mateo, do you know how much Mia cried because of you?"
"I know. Didn't I already make it up to her?" Mateo laughed.
Mia smiled. "You are now the king of the Water kingdom."
Mateo responded, "I'm—"
Before Mateo could continue, Lucy came and and said, "I hope I made the right choice."
"Thank you, Lucy." Mateo smiled.
"It really means a lot. I'm sure you'll be able to find your prince charming some day," Mia added.
The princess giggled. "I've already found him."
"Who is it?" Mateo asked.
"It's Josh. I've been liking him for quite some time." Lucy chuckled.
"You mean the general?"
"Yes."
"I see. Then good luck winning his heart then."
The next day...
"How dare you say that you didn't like Mateo!" Valentina slapped Lucy.
The princess touched her face. "I wanted Mateo to be with Mia."
"You're a such a shame!"
Antonio sighed, "Enough, Valentina."
"Can't I love someone? Can't I choose the person I'll be spending the rest of my life with?" Lucy cried.
"Who is the one you truly love?" the king asked.
"I love Josh," Lucy answered.
"You mean that filthy general?" Valentina slammed the table.
The princess glared. "Don't call him that."
"Shall we call Josh then?" the king asked.
When the general arrived, the queen asked what his relationship with the princess was. Josh then told her that they were just friends.
"Then why is she telling us that she likes you then?" Antonio asked.
Josh then flushed and answered, "Your majesty—"
"I like you, Josh," Lucy said.
"Your highness, you must be joking right?" the general laughed.
"I'm serious," the princess replied.
"You know that even if I did like you back, we cannot be together," Josh stated.
"I'm gonna ask you. Do you like me?" Lucy said.
Antonio smiled. "Josh, it's fine. Just tell us what you feel."
Valentina added, "I'm giving you a chance, Josh."
Josh looked down. "I'm sorry princess, I don't see you in that way."
"That's okay. I still have a lot of time to win your heart." Lucy winked.
