"What did you just say?" Eleanor folded her arms.
"I said that you like me," Cameron repeated.
Eleanor laughed as she pointed at herself. "Me? Like you? I can't believe that you're such a fool."
"You dare call me one?" Cameron brought his face closer.
"Is there a reason not to?"
Cameron then explained that he didn't want to be awkward with her. Instead, he wanted to be normal friends.
"Why would you even want to be friends with me? Is it just because you feel comfortable around me?"
"I like that you're frisky and poised."
"I don't think that I could be friends with an apathetic man like you."
"Look, I might be rough on the outside, but I do have a soft side," Cameron explained.
Eleanor rolled her eyes. "I know. I've seen it."
"What do you say?"
"I guess I have no choice then. You're the most ludicrous man I've ever met in my life."
"Does this mean that you agree to be friends with me?" Cameron asked.
Eleanor then nodded and told him that there was a condition, and that was for him to act close to her when Leo's around.
"He confessed to you didn't he?"
"How did you know...?"
"It's an evident fact."
"Anyway, do we have a deal?"
"Sure, I'll take it as a favor then."
A few hours later...
(At the royal garden)
Carson apologized to Olivia or everything. Olivia then sighed and told him that he ruined everything.
Olivia shouted, "What will King Mateo and Queen Mia think of me?"
Carson touched her shoulder. "Olivia, why didn't you just trust my brother?"
"I've known your father as the head of Pali village for more than five years."
"My father could've just fooled you."
"What reason would he have to?"
"We don't know."
Olivia then told him that she was leaving if there was nothing else, but before she could even turn around and walk away, Carson grabbed her arm and asked her why she hasn't given an answer to his confession yet.
Olivia sighed, "Look, I don't think it's necessary to answer that anymore."
Carson's smile faded away. "Are you saying that my feelings are just trash to you?"
"That's not what I'm—"
"I understand. You don't feel the same way."
"I haven't said that."
"Wasn't the red gem hindering you from liking me?"
"That used to be the reason why..."
"Now that the red gem issue is solved, can't you give me a chance?"
"I really don't know," Olivia sighed.
"What do you want me to do then? Wait for the time till you sort your feelings out?" Carson asked.
Olivia then bowed and apologized because she couldn't describe the way she felt towards him because she was confused about everything.
Carson hugged her. "While I'm still here at the Water kingdom, I'll try my best to make you like me back, but once I step out of this castle, it means I give up."
"There's nothing special about me. I'm just a maid."
"I love that feeling I get when I see you smile. Your smile brightens my day."
"You're exaggerating." Olivia giggled.
Carson said, "It's true. I can't take my eyes off you, Olivia."
