A few days later...
(At the Water kingdom)
Eleanor asked Cameron why Julia came to ask Mia for the blue gem. Cameron then explained that Julia was her mother's servant, but he didn't tell her anything about his plan in getting the blue gem.
Eleanor's eyes widened. "You were looking for the blue gem...?"
Cameron sighed, "I used to, but now I don't need it. My father's alive."
"Really...?"
"Don't you believe me? Do you really think that I'd kill you for it?"
"You're notorious for being mendacious," the princess sighed.
"You believe that?" Cameron giggled.
"You think—"
"Quiet. Leo's coming," Cameron interrupted.
The princess asked, "What about—"
Before she was able to continue, Cameron immediately covered her mouth and told her to stay silent. He then followed Leo to his room and decided to eavesdrop on his conversation with someone. A few minutes later, he got back and told Eleanor everything.
"You think he's the one behind all of this?" Eleanor laughed.
Cameron said, "I heard him."
"That's impossible. He'll never betray us."
"Look, you told me that he just came back a month ago. He's not the Leo you knew back then."
"Who are you to say that? I should be the one suspecting you because you're the one who's acting strange lately."
"How am I acting strange?" Cameron asked.
Eleanor then told him that ever since he knew that she was a princess, he started acting different. He'd help her, be kind to her, stay close to her, and even wanted to be friends with her.
"So you're telling me that you believe that brat? I might seem different now, but it doesn't mean I'm using you."
"I'm going back to my room. I'm not in the mood to argue with you," Eleanor responded.
Cameron then instantly grabbed her wrist and asked why she didn't believe him. Eleanor then told him that it wasn't easy to trust a person she just met a few weeks ago.
Cameron sighed, "Stay. We're not done talking."
"Why should I?" the princess said as she started walking towards the bedroom door.
As she was on her way out, she suddenly heard a the door lock. She then looked back and saw Cameron smirking at her.
Eleanor glared. "You locked it?"
Cameron leaned back on his chair. "Can't I? This is my room."
"You have powers...?"
"I'm the only one in my family that has the power to control things with my eyes, but my father has a unique one."
"What's your father's power...?"
"I'm uncertain about it. He never actually mentioned it."
"Can you let me go now? Please?"
Cameron sighed, "You're the most mischievous woman I've ever met. Sit down before I lose my temper."
"Fine."
"Would you believe me if I say that Leo was talking to a mirror?"
"No."
"Well he did. He was talking with a guy named Jack, but I didn't get to see his face."
"Did you just say Jack...?"
"Yes, what's wrong?"
Eleanor said, "He-He killed my brother..."
"You had a brother?" Cameron asked.
"A had a twin brother named Eric which later on was killed by his wife, Helen."
"How are sure that it's him?"
"Although his wife is dead, he promised to kill all of us to avenge his wife's death..."
"Your father killed Helen didn't he?"
"He ordered the soldiers to," Eleanor sighed.
"Anyway, the Jack you are pertaining to once worked as a servant at the Fire kingdom too," Cameron said.
"What happened...?"
Cameron then explained that he fired him because a few months ago, he found him in his bedroom, searching for the sword that contained the red gem.
"Why did he look for it?"
"Probably the same reason as you did, to revive someone he once lost."
