*Bang!! Pow!! Bamm!!*
Every hit from Ambrose is leaving an imprint on the poor boulder. Soon it began cracking under the force of his fist.
Unlike Danica, who focuses more on developing her spirit energy, Ambrose puts more emphasis on physical prowess.
Using physical activity to train the body is an excellent way to grow stronger as a Mage, maybe even the best. Though, it is still unclear how unleashing such damage is supposed to improve his strength (his strength is evidently already at the top).
Martial arts also became an added training schedule, but he could not improve very much on this one either. If he could find a partner to train with, that would be the best way to develop himself.
Unfortunately, except for Dexter, Ambrose has met no one who could take his blows. Yeah, finding a sparring mate would be a little problematic.
Right after going through his normal task at home, Ambrose would sometimes go missing and Blythe had gotten used to this, and she gave him the freedom since this involves his growth.
As Danica improves thanks to her relentlessness, she also learned of the possibility of expanding her aptitude to an element that is closely related to it. For instance, a mage with a water aptitude can also use this ability in icy form. Earth-style users can also extend this to other elements in close relations.

Oblivious to the family, Ambrose hardly goes to sleep, at least, not as he is supposed to. In silence, enduring the cold air, Ambrose takes in spirit energy from his surrounding, strengthening himself with it. He is aware he shouldn't neglect either aspect of body development.
Even with all his perseverance, Ambrose never absorbed the right energy that would most beneficial to him. This isn't Mana, no! this is a different form of spirit energy and not a very familiar way of exercise.
. . .
Mr. Howard had somewhat become dependent on Ambrose thanks to his usefulness (he never admitted this). Whenever he goes out hunting, young Ambrose would almost always accompany him.
Due to his meat business, the young boy secretly still goes on a solo hunt. Unknown to his customers, some of the meats he sells are from magical beasts, and these taste a lot better than the regular ones.
Ambrose secretly still had to go hunting by himself because of his meat business. Unknown to his customers, some meats he sells to them are from Magical Beasts, and these taste a lot better than the regular ones because of the hidden spiritual energy within.
The sale of Mana Core is also a profitable venture, but this will give rise to too many questions on how he has access to all of this, which should be avoided at all costs. So whenever he gets hold of a magical creature, Ambrose would use the core's energy for himself.
Danica would need a taste of these mana-cores. It will be of great help to her, but as ones said; suspicious. The risk isn't worth it.
Whenever Ambrose hunts down a Magical Beast or any other creature, he would do well to chop its body into different parts and pull out the blood or drink it to nourish himself. This is to make it easier to carry around with him. Though hiding it still proved difficult, and his meat business got exposed to the rest of the family.
"That explains why I have been receiving a lot of profits lately," says Blythe.
"That's not a bad thing... is it?"
"I... I guess not," Blythe said with a little difficulty, "But please, don't go too deep into the forest, it's way more dangerous down there,"
"Yeah, Mr. Howard already told that to me," says Ambrose.
If only they know he had already done that...
"How do you preserve this meat?" asked Blythe.
"I don't, all of my catch goes to the market almost immediately," says Ambrose; "Some of them do not make it to that stage (they got spoilt)".
"Here, let me help you with that,"
She then enchanted a magic word, and the meat became chill. This will undoubtedly keep them in good shape.
"Isn't this better?"
"Yeah, that's a lot better." Ambrose's eyes shone in astonishment. His job has been made easier...
"How about a storehouse?"
"Do we need those?"
"Maybe not necessarily, but it won't hurt to try,"
Building a storehouse would have been a lot easier if Danica had mastered every aspect of wood control along with the earth element. Nonetheless, in a few weeks, the new place was ready to be used...
Blythe placed a sealing spell to keep the place cold at all times. This way, no meat goes to waste. A normal human will freeze to death if they stayed in here for any longer than should.
The demand for more meat supply skyrocketed beyond what Ambrose could handle, thanks to the unique taste of his catch. However, he never pushes himself to keep up. He continued with his usual schedule and what he can manage. His primary goal was to help his mom and the family get more profits, on which he had succeeded.
With the new success comes its challenges, more like envious eyes...
Everybody wants to know how Blythe is doing this, especially other greedy meat suppliers who would like to have more profits in this business, and these peering eyes only increased with every passing time.

"Alright, I'm ready," says Danica
"Bring it on,"
Danica and Ambrose are facing each other from the opposite, a few distances apart. Her stern expression already gives us a clear understanding of what's about to happen.
"Are you sure about this? I don't want to hurt you," says Danica.
"The key question should be; Can you hit me?"
"Are you underestimating me?"
"Not really, you just don't stand a chance against me," Ambrose nonchalantly replied.
"You asked for it," says Danica in a somewhat annoyed tone.
With a hand gesture, enormous roots pulled out from the ground and went after Ambrose. However, Ambrose leaps to the sky, effectively dodging her attack.
"She has improved," He mutters.
One tree in the area grabbed hold of him while he was still in the air. This came as a surprise, especially when he noticed the smirk on Danica's face.
"Got you," she said.
*Crash!*
Ambrose got slammed to the ground by the tree...
"How about that," says Danica in pride.
"I did not know you can now manipulate other plants that were not a product from you. That ability is supposed to take a long period of training to unlock," Ambrose said.
"Hold on a sec, are you saying there is a possibility of being able to manipulate any plants I want?"
"Isn't that what you just did?... Unless,"
"I had planted that tree beforehand. That's how I got you off guard," Danica admitted.
"So it wasn't Plant Manipulation but a trap, that's impressive," Ambrose nodded in satisfaction.
"That wasn't a fair fight, I'm sorry,"
"Who cares about a fair fight? You do whatever it takes to put your enemy down, especially if they are stronger than you are. Acting like an honorable person will only get you killed,"
"You sound very evil," Danica said in disbelief.
"That's because I am... sort of,"
"Let's continue, shall we?"
"Don't get too cocky cause you got me the first time. It won't happen again,"
"We'll see about that,"
The siblings continued sparring with each other for as long as they can...
