Young Mirae sank her bottom on the couch. Her eyes crawled on the walls, furniture before making their way onto the two personalities inside the office, and she recalled something. 'Wasn't that the tall lady who introduced me to Nam Hiah?'

There was no mistake. She remembered the female employee. But what was that big scar on her forehead? Was it there when they met? She didn't know. That was the only thing she couldn't remember.

"Ms. Baek, what made you come here again?" called the old woman sitting at her desk to Young Mirae.

For Young Mirae's ears, the president's tone rang as though she seemed disturbed and unhappy by the visit.

"I am short of time, Ms. Baek. I have a meeting in an hour."

"Ah, I'll blurt it, Mrs. President. It'll only spend a little of your time," Young Mirae chased out as she walked toward the couch.

"Go ahead," the president commanded. In the coordinated moment, she opened a jar and lit the scented candle inside it.

"My grandfather once mentioned that the company offers another service. I also asked my teammate if he knew a job that would allow me to earn money in a blink and he pointed me here," Young Mirae babbled, "I think my teammate was pertaining to 'that' service."

"Hm, we have 'that' one," muttered the president.

Slowly, the president moved the candle on one side of her desk and clasped her hands. She surveyed Young Mirae while listening.

Young Mirae could not help but sniff the scent of lavender coming from the lit candle. It smelled alluring and sweet. It had a calming fragrance that did not fail to make her feel relaxed.

"Um, so, I'm here because I want to know if, ah, I can get into the job?" Her tone curled at the end as she was asking cautiously.

"Does your grandfather know about this, that you want to join in for the other service?"

"He doesn't need to know. Well, at least I don't have to ask for his consent, do I?" asserted Young Mirae.

"Yes, you don't have to, Ms. Baek. But if I would let you," the president paused before continuing, "that old dick would undoubtedly send me a midnight call once he found out, which was disturbing based on an experience."

"I, I'm sorry," Young Mirae whispered. After noticing that the president raised a brow, she embarrassingly scratched the back of her ear. "Does that mean, I can't?"

"...You still can. I have no plans to waste your talent as you are her granddaughter after all."

As her ears reached the news, Young Mirae clenched tightly to the chance. She matched the old woman's gaze and went on, "Great, that's great. Can I apply tomorrow?"

"Of course, Ms. Baek." the president affirmed, "Anyway, do you like the smell of the candle? Your jackass grandfather hates it."

"I don't mind it at all, Mrs. President!" exclaimed Young Mirae. "I love lavender!"

The old woman smirked and nodded her head. "Good, good. I'll add you in for the examination tomorrow if you would light them up in each corner of your grandfather's condo."

"An examination?" Young Mirae's mind blanked out for a moment.

Wait, an exam?!

What?

In the end, she needed to do it before she could join in for the service. Oh, no. Young Mirae might have graduated from a university, but she had no clue how she got her degree.

'What subject is it? Should I study tonight for tomorrow's exam? But I hardly do complicated multiplications and divisions,' she gasped, 'Oh, shoot. I don't care anymore. I'll just have to make my cheat sheet!'

Young Mirae bit her lower lip.

"Ms. Baek, I'll send you a few candle jars once I've bought them. Please light 'em after receiving and use 'em every single day. It'll help you relax your body and mind," chipped in the president while problems drowned Young Mirae.

"...Sure," Young Mirae could barely reply.

"Then I will have to ask you to take your leave if you have no other concerns, Ms. Baek. I have to prepare for my meeting at ten o'clock."

"Yes, I'll leave you guys now. Thank you, Mrs. President. I'm sorry for barging in," apologized Young Mirae. She rose from her seat and marched toward the exit.

Fuck, now that it was clear, she felt the chance given was vague. Young Mirae did not know what to do with the following examination for her application tomorrow. Cheating could be the only answer to pass it, or perchance bribing someone would do, too.

'Yup, although it's filthy, this will be my only way to get the job.'

Park Wonho got inside the miserable car by the escort of Ban Seo. Kim Dong was waiting for them to mount the vehicle before he started the engine.

How terrific, they held again another meeting for tonight. Park Wonho was never a fan of meetings, nor would ever be one. What could be the problem this time around?

Ah, foolish of him to ask. It was because of his report that caused the Boss to call for an emergency meeting. Aye, exactly. The one who demanded the assembly was their Boss.

Ever since the preparation to annihilate the Young family to their downfall, it became busy for everyone. And certainly, besides the increasing stress of the work, the heiress just had to escape.

'Tsk, what was the shitty Il Hwa doing when he let her escape?' He clicked his tongue.

"I guess tonight's going to rock it really hard, isn't it?" Ban Seo chimed in to break the silence.

"Shut it. Your voice is annoying," Park Wonho hissed the second the noisy fuck finished his statement.

"Sorry, Leader," Ban Seo whined in the passenger's corner's seat.
