Not her success

Everyone was silent but Amara confirmed James' speculation, "Yes you can say so, he already had the diamonds with him, even before we tied the owner to the chair and interrogated him." This was one of the reasons why Amara was not that happy with this mission, it was not her who made it a success but it was this random new guy who successfully completed it. This was not her success it was Joshua's.

James now looked at Joshua who was comfortably and arrogantly sitting on the couch as if this place belongs to him and they are the guests here.

"Where were you hiding?" James asked his first question after listening to Dan's story this was the question that was bugging him so he started from it, James was referring to the mission last night, Vic and Amara ensured there was no one at the restaurant other than their group so Joshua coming out of hiding was weird and he was curious to know how exactly did Joshua managed to outwit them.

"I'll answer all your questions once I join your gang" Joshua arrogantly answered James.

Jim tightly clenched his fist; he wanted to punch this man and wipe away the arrogant smirk off his face.

Carl put his hand on Jim's shoulder asking him to calm down and not act out of impulse and let the bosses handle him.

"Why do you want to join our gang?" James asked his next question

"It interests me" Joshua came the same answer to James as the one he gave to Dan the previous night.

Jim rolled his eyes as he knew what would come next.

"Why?" James naturally asked.

"What interests you James?" Instead of answering, Joshua asked him the same question like he asked Dan.

"Why do you ask?" James counter asked him.

"To explain my answer"

"Why do I need to answer your question, how is that relevant?" James was a soldier and unlike Dan he was not so easy to handle.

Jim smirked at James' reply and was happy that there is someone who would show Joshua his place.

"Because you are the one who wants an answer" Joshua was unaffected by his attitude and sarcastically informed him.

James was silent for a moment, he didn't know how to answer him back, "Why Russo gang?" he decided to ask the same question but in a different way.

Joshua smiled as he understood what James was doing but he still decided to answer him honestly, "It is the strongest mafia gang in Sicily, if I aim for something, I obviously aim for something higher, something that is best of all."

"Why do you want to be in mafia? Do you even know it is rather easier to get into mafia than getting out of it?" James seriously questioned the arrogant guy sitting across him.
